Finally played man against the Pats and turned out a lot better. Who would’ve guessed that? Finally let Ben have the keys to the car and the offense is better. Who would’ve guessed that? Played youth over terrible Vets and it was better. Who would’ve guessed that?

It’s almost like this coaching staff hasn’t earned any level of trust because they don’t seem to make optimal choices.

Harrison has dressed for 5 of 14 games, and barely played, he doesn't play special teams, if he was really better than the guys who have been playing, wouldn't he have played? To me it's obvious he's done, or he would have been on the field. If you really need the guys you kept over him, I have no problem cutting him, I never care about "after all he's done for us".

Sometimes I'm irked by what they do, on the other hand, they now have 4 straight 10+ win seasons, no losing seasons since 2003. In any other city, they'd throw parades for the guys that have lead the second best franchise out of 32 in the Patriots Era.

I don't care about YINZER SENTIMENTALITY, if they felt he was least valuable for what they need to do, they know better than random people.

But yeah, I do question their strategy a lot, but in reality, based on results, they really are at the top of the NFL besides New England the last 15 years, Who else is?

Per a Sunday AM report from CBS Sports, the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens are both interested in bringing in former #Steelers OLB Harrison for a playoff run.

I guess we'll find out at the end of this year how right they've been.

I was kinda hoping we were past moral victories.

I would laugh if Harrison signed with someone and had a big playoff game against the Steelers. But at least we'd still have Dan McCullers and Arthur Moats on the roster! Don't want to risk those guys.

So you root for individual players over the team?

A mix of both, like most people. I know you (claim to be) an exception to that. Besides, I'm not saying that I'm rooting for this to happen. I would just laugh if it did, because it looks like a stupid move by the Steelers and it would be funny in a way if it backfired spectacularly.

I never said he sucks. I said he was unhappy with his playing time, and I would bet money he asked to be able to pursue opportunities elsewhere. It would be worse to hold him hostage than it would be to honor his wishes.

James Harrison right now is better than Chickillo and Moats as Orange said above. How about letting one of those clowns go and give Harrison the playing time he wants?

That clusterfuck of an ending could have been easily avoided.

Many times on this site people criticize Tomlin or the team, and I don't say anything because either I agree with the critics or at least I think the point is debateable.

My comment was in response to KC bringing up Mitchell and Jarvis and holding them up as if making personnel mistakes was the norm for the Steelers Really? We're 11-3, we can clinch a bye with a win tomorrow, it's our 4th year in a row in the playoffs. I think the Steelers are probably doing something right this year. You really want to act like the Steelers miss more than they hit????

So the 31 other teams have till 4pm eastern time today to claim harrison. Even though Harrison is still listed on the injury report for the Steelers as fully practiced Saturday. http://www.steelers.com/team/injury-report.html

Media(daily snark) is suggesting the pats are interested. Wouldn't that take the fucking cake.

They're very successful.

Until they play New England. Then they look like Cleveland.

Tomlin seems to tap the breaks on Deebo

Team misses him but there must be that outburst to the press that may indicate something in my mind.

I have read a few people on here talking about moving Watt to ILB with Shazier out.

They have a serious hole next to Vince Williams in the run game and Watt’s size and arm length could disrupt plays to TE’s and small slot receiver over the middle of the field.

Getting Harrison back to play his ass off for three games on the edge could make this happen, I wonder if it’s in their plans...

They're weak in that spot though. Steelers brain trust should have forseen this; maybe they think it's a non-issue. Maybe Deebo was too much a malcontent. All we need to see....#92 putting heat on Ben in the AFCCG.

I’m such a Ravens/Chiefs fan right now.....pathetic to hope one of those two knock out NE but that’s where I’m at
