Finney is a more than capable at LG and likely starts on any other team. I like Finney. I think Gilbert is the better run blocker though. When Gilbert is in the game that OLine seems unstoppable. JMO

Gilbert is a RT and Finney is an OG. Not sure what you're getting at mate.

My point is that I agree with you. Finney is due and is very capable at LG. I also threw in that I felt Gilbert was the best run blocking lineman and when Gilbert is out there the Steelers OLine seems unstoppable. I would venture to say once Foster hangs 'em up Finney will fill in perfectly.

DeCastro is best run blocker!!
He can pull to both right and left sides and open holes for LB

I am sorry but think Foster has been very good and i also agree Finney could be a starter on almost any team and he is solid.

If the game plan is to have the offense run the ball predominantly and throw less than yes, maybe Finney might be better than Foster. But Finney has been exposed when he has to do a lot of pass blocking, I don't think he is quite the well rounded player that Foster is quite yet.

Also, KC not having NT Poe anymore and with Tamba Hali on PUP and S Berry on IR and done for the year, it wasn't exactly a stellar front 7 to run against.

Man I was expecting you to tell us how bad LB was today because he only had 1 20 yard rush - it was because he faced a bad defensive front, got it.

Decastro should be All-Pro.

End of story.

Great player.

Foster will be 33 and a UFA after next season. I'm thinking the long term plan is to have Finney take over that spot

I think DD is the weak link.

Finney and Hubbard are passable backups

If I recall, Finney started vs KC during the season last year and dominated as well. Honestly it's all about match ups. Steelers have the horses to run over the Chiefs nickel D. Put Finney out there vs the Jags or a dominant interior pass rusher with some size and length and he's a liability. Ask him to run block all day and he'll get the job done. Decastro is an elite pulling guard. He also can struggle vs good pass rushers and dealing with power players.

No way Decastro is a better run blocker than Gilbert.

Debatable. Depends on what they are being asked to do. When DD is on, that due can cause havoc.

Consider the source, but:
