Damn I hate reading that. Really hoping this is a Very "Minor" issue as Tomlin states. They'll need every man on deck for the foreseeable future. Perhaps we see a little less Schuster and a little more Bryant as a result?Tomlin acknowledges that a rookie needs reps to prepare to play, so the Steelers hope Smith-Schuster's injury improves well before Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers.
"The seasons that [rookies] are used to are coming to a close -- they are getting ready for finals, they are transitioning to bowl prep," Tomlin said. "Guys like [T.J. Watt] and JuJu and others, they are moving into uncharted territory."

Depending how well Smith-Schuster practiced this week I'm hoping he plays Sunday. Perhaps in a reduced role which would allow for Bryant, Rogers and even Hunter to see more reps. Not like the Steelers are short skill players.
Smith-Schuster (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday.
Per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com, Smith-Schuster's hamstring issue is considered "small," but it's something that the Steelers will monitor, given that head coach Mike Tomlin seems intent on having the rookie wideout put in his share of practice reps as the team prepares for Sunday's game against the Packers. With that in mind, there's reason to think Smith-Schuster may hit the practice field in some capacity Thursday. https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/footb ... -practice/
