I am actually interested to see James blitz pickup and blocking more than rush and receiving yards. Hopefully no fumbles from the windy wet conditions.
Bud should get at least 1.5 to 2 sacks without scheme. I will cry if the tackle plays the arc game with him.

I hate that my city (London) is on that map and it's like a 5-6 hour drive to get there.

Oh goody, my wife's work has it's first case of co-vid.

was this intentionally last years?
I got really confused when I read this part.
Last Minute Switches – One of the NFL’s fiercest rivalries has been spiced up by recent events after the Browns cut two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden, who signed with Steelers hours later. Also, the two teams completed a trade last week, with Cleveland acquiring speedy receiver Sammie Coates from Pittsburgh. Haden, who spent seven seasons with Cleveland, said he didn’t sign with the rival Steelers to spite the Browns but for a chance to finally make playoffs.

Should just be a light rain. Heaviest rain stayed south. Not near as bad as was thought a day or two ago.

Predictions on who sits?
With Vance out I think both Hunter and Washington will dress, otherwise I think Washington would've sat. I won't be shocked if Washington sits though.
I'll go with Vance, Feiler, Banner, Rudolph, Allen, Fort, and McCullers.

I heard 40mph gusts but that was at like midnight. So I am not sure what the updated #'s are.

The wind is much more concerning than the rain, even heavy rain. Wind has been show to be the biggest factor in limiting offense, specifically the passing game. This could minimize the Steelers biggest advantage over the Browns.
I am also worried that the weather will play into Tomlin's base instinct for going conservative.

I haven't watched one of the pregame shows in years but decided to check out an NFL Network feed this morning since I'm pumped for the start of the season. How the hell does anyone watch a show Michael Irvin is on? That guy is incapable of letting anyone else talk for more than 30 seconds. So annoying I had to turn it off but not before the former Niners coach (can't remember his name) predicted Conner would rush for 180 yards. I like Kurt Warner but the rest of that show is garbage.
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

-Those are two good things to look for, agreed. You have to think Dupree should have a good to great game going against a rookie LT. We will see.

I can't watch any of the shows - sounds like a damn locker room - the loudest guy makes his points as they are all yelling over each other.

Maybe we can get an early jump and take a 21-3 lead into half and milk the clock in the second half slop.

Ravens didn't give RG3 a helmet today. Flacco and Jackson are running 1 & 2. Most of you don't care but I found that interesting.

That's the Tomlin Turtle dance. Better keep playing and not let the Stains hang around. We seen the results before.

I also am interested to see the durability of James. I know he worked hard in the off season for this moment.
