Within the past week, Dallas upped its offer to the Seahawks for Pro Bowl safety Earl Thomas to a second-round pick, per sources. Seattle wasn’t interested; it wants more.

This right here plus what he wants to be paid and easy pass for me

Why - what does a 1st round pick next year get us? We have about 3 years (until Ben retires) to win the SB.

I was all in for the Mack trade and I'm all in for Thomas. These guys are playmakers, we have ZERO of those on the defensive side of the ball and giving up significant assets (like 1st round picks) is what will net you those guys.

Go all in for the next few years and then tank hard until we get our next HOF QB

I'd do that. Shame it isn't the NHL. If Seattle would eat salary, I'd consider upping it to a 2nd.
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...
