His buddy is getting all the hype. Yet Ole Miss ran their offense around Brown. Metcalf looked super stiff trying to move laterally in what little I've seen so far. Be curious how that measured up at combine in 3 cone etc. Haven't really watched Brown much, yet.

He’s the best WR in the draft in my book. Steelers badly need an ILB, OLB and safety help. Sucks WR is such a big need now.

Just watched his highlights. Yeesh. He has Steeler written all over him. Reminds of JuJu quite a bit.

Whoa, slow your roll.

He's a very good WR.

Marquise Brown is the best WR in this draft for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and you can throw Hakeem Butler/AJ Brown/NKeal Harry et al in a hat for who would be second-best. Hollywood Brown is ridiculously plug and play as a replacement for AB.

...and that's why he's not the best choice for the Steelers. PIT desperately needs a speed guy to open things up for JuJu & MOF. They needed one last year before AB left.

Won't be a problem until after Ben retires.

yes, he hurt his foot and had surgery... the only reason it's not a sure thing

But... Marquise Brown played with the foot injury and didn't look terrible. Can it be worse after the surgery than it was with the injury? perhaps. Depends exactly where on the foot it was. Manny Sanders & Le'Veon Bell both had similar injuries and were fine. Santonio Holmes, also-- recovered but not as well. He was older, too.

I’m with B2B on this, Brown is the most explosive WR in this class and it’s not even close. We need another speedy and shifty WR to replace what AB brought to the table. Just turns out that the best replacement for him also happens to be his cousin.

Agree, best WR in the draft. Won't be surprised if they take him at 20.

I like AJ, and his tweet the other day was cute, but if Marquise proves out healthy, and they feel he can take the NFL pounding, then he really does, removing family ties from the equation, make the most sense. Plus, the epic yinzer meltdown on draft day would be fun to watch from outside the blast radius.
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...

I mean you watch about 2 minutes of Marquise Brwon highlights, and all you can think of is Antonio Brown when he was a young, hungry player. He carries himself the same way, runs more or less the same way, used nearly identically... it is almost too perfect.

I wish he had almost any other injury-- this one is so hard to predict without knowing exactly what was wrong and what was done to fix it, and even then it has risks. As I said, I'm encouraged by the fact that he played more or less normally with the injury--can it be worse after the repair than it was with the injury? It reminds me of Emmanuel Sanders' foot injury that he played, or at least attempted to play with. Sanders could barely tough it out, and Brown ran stutter & go, deep routes, the usual stuff. Oklahoma's OL just got overwhelmed and that took Brown out of the game more than anything.
