I was the exact opposite, I didn't start drinking until the second half. But the game started at 10 am for me and I had no bloody mary mix.

I'm pretty positive coming off this game.
That was ugly...but it's the type of game teams that play in January win...and we haven't been winning. And I know we didn't get points...and some see it as a reason to criticize the defense...but I think the fake punt saved the game imo. Great call by Tomlin.

A lot of good things happened on the field today. Almost all of them on offense.
We have major issues on defense. But many of us already knew that. We just have to hope the defense improves over the course of the season and that we can get enough W's along the way to stay in contention.
I really liked what I saw from the offense today.

A young defense riding a big lead against a perennial doormat gets caught off guard by an up-tempo, no huddle offense suddenly playing with a lot more physicality.
Is it any surprise, given the circumstances that the defense came out flat in the 2nd half? They got their asses handed to them but came up big when they had to (thanks to Big Play Will Gay). They'll improve, and if they can improve on-the-fly this season they could peak at the right time and be very dangerous come January.

Couldn't agree more, I didn't post at all during offseason for this very reason, way too much negativity. One thing I've learned watching the NFL for over 35 years is that the talent level on every roster is pretty close, almost any team win on any given sunday. Injuries and critical plays at the right time are usually the difference makers.
