I hated the mets when I watched baseball as a kid, but always wanted Seaver to be a pirate.

Just happened to stop by, C-T. Thanks for posting: Seaver was one of the true greats.
Saw him win his 300th at Yankee Stadium. Had his autograph when I was a kid (no idea where it is now).
