Didn't really see where else to put this.

The Steelers are traveling to Buffalo on Sunday morning, per team spokesman Burt Lauten.

Team requested and received permission from the league to change travel plans because of schedule alterations forcing two short weeks in a row.

Hopefully because it's a short trip and a night game it won't impact performance.

We'll see. Concerns me that they've voluntarily chosen to disrupt their own routine.

Hopefully they will be traveling with a big boy game plan in tow.

If all they plan to do is dink it down the field at 2 yards a clip they might as well stay home.

Does he know the city of Buffalo has a 24 hour quarantine on out of state travelers that overrides the NFL policy.

Just kidding.

I am sure the Ravens know all those type of details.

Last time was 2012, Steelers traveled to the Meadowlands on Game Day re: Hurricane Sandy. That game turned out okay!

I thought they played the Skins at Heinz the day before Hurricane Sandy.

Hurricane Sandy hit NY area 11/2/12. Steelers beat Giants 11/4/12.

Well, we'll never know the answer, definitively.

But I think the question was poignant.

Batch said on the post game show that when they traveled to play the Giants after Sandy that he was not a fan of the day of travel. Said that the team was playing at 4pm and once they got to the team hotel and had a meeting that since they didn't have rooms they just laid around the conference rooms and tried to rest however they could. He also said the players were showing up like 3 or 4 hours before the Bills to the stadium trying to loosen up and knock the jet lag off.

Turns out it was probably a bad idea to do it but as stated we will probably never know unless it comes out in a book in 10 or 15 years.
