LOL, dude has been washed up for 3+ years but is still the first call whenever someone needs a RB.
Guy literally cost himself tens of millions of dollars, and now he falls all over himself when the phone rings with a vet min offer of $60k per week. Glorious.

This puts an unfortunate pause to his bid to challenge Jake Paul to that boxing match. Was looking forward to that far more than the resumption of his football career. Hopefully it still comes off at some point.
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...

i know its still not as good a script as brady v belicheat in the sb but this does give us a punchers chance at brown and bell together again with a new "b" against the other two killer Bs bince not withstanding and their old club etc etc added to the Ben gets one last chance at brady in the playoffs this time for all the marbles storyline..just sayin'
A better contest would be who can make more waves on a cottage-cheese ass....

Oh wow. It completely slipped by me that those two massive head cases will be reunited in the same locker room.sinceiwas4 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 22, 2021 12:07 ami know its still not as good a script as brady v belicheat in the sb but this does give us a punchers chance at brown and bell together again with a new "b" against the other two killer Bs bince not withstanding and their old club etc etc added to the Ben gets one last chance at brady in the playoffs this time for all the marbles storyline..just sayin'

Imagine having Ben, Bell, Brown and arguably the best OL in the league for 5 years together and only making it past the divisional round of the playoffs once. On offense I can think of 3, maybe 4 HOFers (Ben, Brown, Pouncey, and maybe Decastro)
Yeah Bell and Brown ended up being head cases, but no doubt it could have been handled early and avoided. But it was allowed to fester for those years until it all came to a boil.
Tomlin offers nothing on offense, nothing on defense, nothing on special teams, nothing on optimizing strategy, nothing on game management and he's a player's coach that continuously has issues managing his players.

Brown, Bell, and Pouncey were all out for that 2016 divisional playoff game vs Denver (so was DeAngelo Williams, fwiw).StillerInCT wrote: ↑Wed Dec 22, 2021 4:14 pmImagine having Ben, Bell, Brown and arguably the best OL in the league for 5 years together and only making it past the divisional round of the playoffs once. Or for that matter shopping Brown before it broke totally down. Tell me you couldn't get a first out of then the best WR in football.StillerInCT wrote: ↑Wed Dec 22, 2021 4:14 pmImagine having Ben, Bell, Brown and arguably the best OL in the league for 5 years together and only making it past the divisional round of the playoffs once. This is a criticism of Colbert I just don't get. Unless you're blowing things up to rebuild, teams just don't trade star players unless there is a serious underlying issue. So with that kind of red flag, no one is falling over themselves to trade for a guy with just 1 or 2 years left on a contract.
Plus, word usually leaks out pretty quickly and then it really blows up. You can't ever get "fair value" because you can't hide the issues that create the fire sale.

The following day, the Steelers placed him on injured reserve, effectively ending his season. Bell finished the 2015 season with a total of 113 rushing attempts for 556 rushing yards and three touchdowns and 24 receptions for 136 receiving yards in six games and six starts
---he single handedly destroyed his career in an all time dumbass move, [wait probably
advised by his agent that he should have strung up instead of listening.]
he has been an absolute nothing since then.
wtf is arians, [who when here i was one of his not too many supporters]
doing. puzzling decision by tampa bay.
oh, btw- pit lost that den game when bell's replacement rb fumbled away what was looking
like a game winning drive.
2011-2021 ehh! but now, 7-6-1 and semi-sucking, yet still a chance to win the div - go figure.

They only had everybody for the JAX playoff game. They had Ben AB & Bell for MIA (blowout win) & KC (road win with poor RZ offense). That’s part of the problem with being so dependent on star power.StillerInCT wrote: ↑Wed Dec 22, 2021 4:14 pmImagine having Ben, Bell, Brown and arguably the best OL in the league for 5 years together and only making it past the divisional round of the playoffs once.
