Steeler's have parted ways with Blount, maybe they can pick up Ben Tate who was cut by the browns today. Guess Tomlin isn't a disciplinarian.....didn't see other thread started, mods can delete other thread.

This is VERY dangerous. An injury to Bell means the running game is dead. Let's hope they find a back on the open market to bring in, not that there are any of relevance out there aside from a slumping Tate. If only they had drafted a RB in the 3rd round this year...

Not sure who all is available, prob could steal a guy off another teams practice squad, we may have one on our practice squad as well, whoever they bring in will probably be hungry and looking to earn a spot long term which could always be a good thing, especially for a RB, hungry RB's tend to run a little harder.

very true, both are rookies and both have played well this year...Tate has proven his worth as a capable backup in this league for years.

Meh, he was signed to be the man (or told he was), then it became RBBC (Running Back By Committee) and he wasnt happy with his playing time. That is why Tate is out. And while the past couple games had very little action for Blount, with the weather turning, more running would be inevitable. Tate is going to have to rinse the sand out of his vagina first. OTOH, the Colts are desperate now that Bradshaw is done (again). Good luck with Trent guys!

I absolutely agree with you. I just wonder that signing a guy who was cut for similar behavior inspired by similar circumstances is going to happen.
