Steelers at The Team Not Good Enough For Elway Game Comments & Caterwauling
I predict the holiday spirit will keep this thread genteel... until like halfway through the 2nd quarter.
Have at it!

I don’t know about this one. Shane Steichen seems like a good coach and I think the Colts TEs will kill us.
I’ll be following on my phone so not poasting as much.
I know you all will miss my contributions to the game thread

Are you nuts?
This thread will break down halfway through the opening kickoff…

is ESPN's injury report accurate with only Issac Seumalo out? TJ, Highsmith and Minkah are good to go?
Tomlin will lead us to victory

That's the spirit.
Here We Go Steelers.
Secure NHALS early and then go deep into the PLAYOFFS.

This is like bedwetting bitches central. Fuck you all !!
Wow, Mixon just got stoned at the GL, somehow stays on his feet and bullies his way into the EZ.
CIN winning today is definitely bad for our playoff hopes, but especially bad for NHALS

With all due respect, anyone rooting for a win today is a weak coward.
Suck it up and embrace what's best for the organization.
I'll be actively cheering for the Colts. Celebrating each first down they make as if its Ben to Holmes in the SB.

Yes, looking for the Grinch to steal Christmas NHALS!
Watching CIN - that team is truly playing inspired and hard. Their last 2 TD's have just been spectacular individual efforts that, frankly, I don't see anyone on PIT making (maybe PIckens, on occasion).

That effort by Higgins was awesome!
NHALS = NFL purgatory
Pickens is a loser. Throw a little adversity at him and he crumbles like a wet paper bag. An unlikeable 13 year old.
I hope he gets coal in his stocking for Christmas.

I agree that Pickens lacks the work ethic to become the player many think he is. That said, the same excuses in this offense people keep making for Kenny applies to the other players, as well.
If Pickens really is a lazy grumpus, they should look to trade him. The one guy on offense that probably has some real trade value. Maybe DJ, too, but PIT isn't going to trade the only guy that gets open (we saw this offense was even more dreadful without him)

Bengals got jobbed out of a DPI… and JaMarr Chase might have a pec injury. He’s in street clothes now.

Tomlin was handed a golden opportunity.
Playing the 2-10 Cardinals and Patriots on back to back weeks.
Colts rb out.
Bengals without JB and now it looks like Chase is out.
If they lose tonight, I'm leaning towards this being his final year.

Watching Brian Flores, defensive genius, continue to rush four and play passive zones for three straight TD drives by the Bengals is making me question his branding.
Browning is playing really well, great pocket presence for a practice squad/journeyman UDFA. No doubt Cincy is working harder out there, Mullins has got two WTF?? TDs today.

I think Tomlin had a mandate to at least make the playoffs, if not win a game.
To me, that's been clear in the difference on the sidelines and pressers vs. last year. Tomlin had a free pass last year with a rookie QB, but you can see this year he's been under real pressure to be more than the usual Mediocre Mike.

Let's go Bengals! What an effort today.

I've always thought there are only a handful of really good coaches, and probably a similar number of really bad. Most of the rest are pretty similar and competent, and their success/failure is really driven more by the FO talent acquisitions than anything special about that HC.
That "mediocre bunch" would include Tomlin and Flores, obviously. NHALS is simply a function of the roster Tomlin has had, combined with targeting a high floor at the expense of a low ceiling. That's been enough for Deuce, but probably wouldn't fly with 31 other teams.

Tee Higgins showing more heart than anyone on the Steelers, except maybe Watt.

I once again regret picking far too many points in the score game.
