NFL Now
I don't watch NFLN much. But I got into the habit of recording this 1 PM show and it's not too bad. What I've noticed is the lack of coverage of Steeler related stuff. They just aren't on the radar other than once in a while an injury report or a mention of NHALS (which seems to be a contractural obligation for many reporters/journos on the NFL beat! LOL... IT's a minor thing but just another example of the Steelers being a rather boring subject for most. Not exactly any buzz around the team. Not being a true contender for a few years really sucks.
Only thing I’ve seen is the Watt injury and an occasional Tomlin mini press conf
We are being overlooked and rightfully so
I mean I want to pull off the upset in Buff but I’m also a realist

But are you a NHALiSt? Because that's what really seems to matter nowadays.

The Steelers are a double digit underdog for a reason. The media doesn’t want to spend a bunch of air time on a team that is considered a feel-good story and expected to make an early exit. If the Steelers pull off the upset, however, the media will be all over it.
TBH I'm not hearing a lot of playoff discussion, period.
The air has been sucked out of those discussions by Carroll and Belichick (and Vrabel to a smaller degree (leaving).
And I've been listening to a lot of NFL only Sirius radio.
The best content I heard this week was the Moving the Chains crew (too bad former Steeler QB Jim Miller was on vacay for this) interview Bill Cowher about what playoff football was like. Very insightful...and in that interview, Cowher expressed support for going with Mason Rudolph and admitted he made a mistake in 1992 in bringing Neil O'Donnell back to start the Buffalo playoff game. Basically saying that going with Pickett would have been the wrong call based on his rustiness alone.
But I have heard little if any breakdowns of the actual games themselves.
