11 minute video.
A fun video shows an actual attack plan and the kinds of things that can set up future routes and groupings of personnel to force the D or take what the D is giving up.

@Orangesteel, you and I talked a bit yesterday about the Canada v Smith offenses this vid will shed some info on that subject.
DK is adding some folks to his crew.
I’m guessing that’s a good sign

Good video. As long as we start scoring touchdowns I will be pleased. I do like how he’s feeding Pickens even though everyone knows it. You can’t stop that guy - his talent is off the charts.

It kind of looks the same as last years trash. Fields completed more passes behind the line of scrimmage 4, then he did over 10 yards and over the middle combined. I appreciate him having no int but this can't and won't last all year. I am happy they won and I get baby steps, I just hope this leads to something more then what we watched most of the last 3 or 4 years.

Moss, Owens, Fitzgerald, Hill. AB, Megatron, Kelce, Rice, Largent, etc everyone always knows who is getting fed the ball.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2024 10:50 pmGood video. Is the system and the athletes on D enough to contain the great ones is the challenge.
They really really really need to find a complimentary piece. If Austin III can hit one or two deep shots like he had against the Raiders last season that will change the way all defenses play against this team going forward. QB and OC will know where the weakness is before the snap probably 80+% of the time. That would be a great help to Fields or Wilson [instert GI Joe "And Knowing Is Half The Battle" Slogan].

If Van Jefferson cant establish himself as #2 then as soon as Roman is healthy you get that dude on the field.
Jefferson as a #2 is a wildcard anyway so he’s gotta prove he can make some plays. Otherwise you start distributing those snaps elsewhere.

I think VJ fucking sucks ass. Dude can't even line up correctly and he's been in the NFL for like 3 years now.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2024 11:30 pmIf Van Jefferson cant establish himself as #2 then as soon as Roman is healthy you get that dude on the field.

Yeah, had more negative yards in penalties (10) than he had in receptions (1).Deebo wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2024 12:04 pmI think VJ fucking sucks ass. Food for thought - The Steelers only had two 3 & outs in Sunday's game. Compare that to how last season started:
- Opener vs SF, First 5 drives ended in 3 & out
- Week 2 vs Cleveland - As many turnovers (2) as first downs in the opening half.
- Week 3 vs Vegas - First two drives end in 3 & out. With the Steelers protecting a 2 score lead in the 4th quarter, two drives end in a 3 & out
The Steelers outgained their opponent yesterday. Something that didn't happen until Week 12 last season.

Also, nice vid and thanks for sharing.
To the guy in the video - Good Lord.....stop rambling, talk faster, and get to the point. That should have been 5 minutes long, tops.

Smith's use of play action (right after a turnover) and designed QB runs shows innovation towards attacking and using his players strengths.
The results are from one game, but the arrow should be pointed upwards.

It was his first go at doing a video breakdown. So I will cut him some slack. Once he gets more used to it it should improve if he continues down that path.
SAW MORE PLAY ACTION ....than I can remember in any game last year.PennyBacker wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2024 12:06 pmSmith's use of play action (right after a turnover) and designed QB runs shows innovation towards attacking and using his players strengths.

Unless I am mistaken?
Anywhere we can find the total # of PA plays?
