Totally forgot Brady had a 5 TD game, and I bet most people have as well.

Brady also doesn't have 2 500 yd games, either.

And Chicago defense has been terrible...... while Indy defense has been very good.
Shut out cincy. Gave up only 136 yards I think
We all saw their third down efficiency on defense

That's what makes the game all the more memorable. Chicago is reeling and bleeding bad

Colts were the cock walk coming into the game.

Sorry, this game was awesome, but I still think Ben needs another ring.

Just a filthy performance by Ben. One for the ages for sure. I think Beys drop probably cost him the record. Needed those few extra touches and throws. The 'W' is all important but a chance at an all time record like that only comes around maybe 1 or if you're really lucky twice... He deserved a shot at going for it especioally after the cheap shot by the colts on Ben. Fuck them after that and air it out. But that's just me.

It's the 10.7 YPA that blows my mind with the 40 completions.

That's ridiculous. In a HOF way.

3 SB appearances, 2 rings (1 with an amazing game winning drive), 10-4 record in the playoffs, 4th QB in history with 100 wins in first 150 starts (with Brad, Brady & Montana), 1st QB in history with two 500 yard passing games (game manager...really?)....

Explain to me what in his resume requires another ring to get in the HOF. The only reason there is even a question about him being a first ballot HOFer is because the media keeps saying he’s really not that good!!

As for the doubters, I think of IC. I don't know if he was banned, but if he is reading, I laugh at him. Ben took a giant shit on his chest, and then fucked his wife while IC watched.

Ben is an absolute stud. Todd Haley FINALLY called a good game, make that a GREAT game. The offensive line was amazing. The defense was the only ugly spot today. That and the fumbles probably cost Ben another TD and 40-50 more yards.

But what a game!

This is gets me very happy.

I think Ben needs to make sure if it!!

“Why does it have to stop here?” Roethlisberger said he told the team afterward. “Why can’t we keep doing this?”

Cody, I'll be honest-- I thought the defense was pretty good, despite the 34 points. They had a pick 6, a safety, tons of pressure-- hell, I'll even give props to DLB for blitzing more than I can ever remember the Steelers blitzing in 45 years following the team.

Cortez Allen had some problems locating and playing the football, guys whiffed on tackles-- largely because TY Hilton and Ahmad Bradshaw and Luck are pretty good players. Props to them.

there is plenty to be tightened up for the Steelers D... but they played two of the best games they've played in recent years back to back.

I thought the defense was actually very good in spite of 34 pts allowed. Consistent pressure, and attacking the QB and the ball in theair rather than sitting back waiting to tackle the catch.

Yup, Warren Moon - Jim Kelley - Dan Fouts all need another ring to get into the HOF too. Guess what, Ben's on pace to surpass every stat every one of those guys put up to go with his 2 rings. If you don't think Ben's a first ballot HOF LOCK, you are brain dead. It's that simple.

Ahem.

"I said earlier that he is a first ballot Hall of Famer in my opinion," Colts coach Chuck Pagano said after the Steelers ended his team's five-game winning streak. "He's unbelievably accurate. He's big. He's strong he makes all the throws. You have to be able to get him on the ground."

Yes but his throws were not as good or gutty at Luck, who was the real star of the night.

Absolutley right Pech. and Lit, Pagano right on the money and nevermind when you don't get him on the ground, if you don't even sniff him for a full game you get what we saw last night.

Have to admit I LOVE watching Luck play though. He's got that Favre / Roethlisberger swagger in his game. Big, tough. Kid has serious balls and will improve I think. I don't know about those on the board who say he's already destined to be better than BR7 or even Favre for that matter. It was great watching them both play. Cut from a similar mold in many ways.

Luck is a rare talent. Guts and moxie and talent. He'll be in Canton too.

Ben cemented his legacy and HOF ballot yesterday with a game for the ages.
