Please one more year of NHALS!

Post by .Kodiak » Sun Jan 12, 2025 4:36 pm

Well, since it's now our SB let's talk about what's at stake:

Tom Landry has the longest streak of non-losing seasons at 21.
Mike Tomlin has the longest streak at 18, 1 short of #2 on the list Belicheat, but the longest streak to start a coaching career.

But here's why I care: 21 years is the longest team streak, which PIT tied DAL this year. One more year of NHALS and PIT owns the record!

I'd rather chop off my own dick

I am hoping for the perfect Tomlin NHALS season: go 8-8-1, sneak into the playoffs as the 7 seed because 15 games improbably go the Steelers way the last three weeks and the Steelers beat a team resting starters week 18, then lose by 50 in the Wild Card round!

Why not got for broke and hold out for 7-7-3?

I’m hoping Jibbs goes one and done at least two more times so that he will hold the record.

That stank needs to be what defines his career.
The Steelers are among the NFL’s worst teams in total offense (30th) and total defense (28th). Highest paid defense in the league by far. We are lucky to have Mike Tomlin.

8-8-1 or 0-17 are the only two records that would make me happy next year.

1-1-15 would be pretty great.

There should be an award for the worst playoff team each year.

And it should be called:
“The Mike Tomlin Overachievement Award”
