Players to watch tonight
Players to watch tonight
What players are you looking forward to seeing 2nite.
Obviously the two tackles
Hoping Roman Wilson does well.
Hearing Harmon has been a bull.
Benton needs to have a rebound year.
Looking forward to seeing Mt. Yahya... hearing good things on him...
Been saying for years we have neglected the DL in the draft... if we hit on Harmon and Black is a find... maybe Benton is pushed to excell.
Like to see Sebastion Castro and some of the other young DB playing for depth spots.
Not sure we see Kaleb Johnson or not... but I am looking forward to seeing him run.

I am really rooting for DJ Thomas Jones to have some great preseason moments...
We can not.
Can't.
Can not do a 4th year of Connor Heyward not being a difference maker as a FB / 4th TE.
When the few times we put a FB on critical downs... and he does not make a difference.... it's a waste of a roster spot.
He had is moments as a rookie and a few in 2023...

Do you think Aaron and DK will get some playing time?
What about TJ?
I would like to see them get some work in tonight but maybe they won't play until the last pre season game.
Looking forward to a great season.

Secure NHALS early and then go deep into the PLAYOFFS.

Unfortunately for you and all of us Thomas Jones tore his Achilles if memory serves. I think he’s out for the year.Stosh-67 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 09, 2025 2:48 pmI am really rooting for DJ Thomas Jones to have some great preseason moments...

I think they’ve already announced none of those three are playing. My guess is: the Steelers starters will play in joint practices next week vs Carolina, then sit out preseason 2 or play minimally. What happens in week 3 is anyone’s guess.Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Sat Aug 09, 2025 2:49 pmDo you think Aaron and DK will get some playing time?

Harmon, Roman Wilson, Black, Woods, Gainwell, Sawyer. (And Slay, Ramsey and Nick Herbig, if they play.)Stosh-67 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 09, 2025 2:27 pmWhat players are you looking forward to seeing 2nite.

I’ll be watching Suwanee GA’s own Travis Hunter
Curious to see if he can prove the naysayers wrong

Thanks for the information. Maybe the young QB will get some playing time. I don't think Rudolph should play the whole game.bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Sat Aug 09, 2025 5:24 pmI think they’ve already announced none of those three are playing. Johnson looked like he struggled a bit and was taken down by arm tackles.
Castro has a long way to go IMO. He does have good instincts that make him intriguing.
Didn’t catch Harmon. Black looked solid for a rookie in his first preseason game.
Sawyer looked about the same. Lined up at TJ’s position. Heir Apparent?
Bibberty looked rusty and sundial slow. Wilson and Miller looked decent.

The TD toss to Mt. Washington was worthy of applause. Rudolph exploited the size mismatch well.
