Terry's description of the aftermath is both horrifying and instructive about the state of medical care for the players back then. One notch above "rub some dirt in it". I love the old days but I dont' want to go back.

I was at that game. I was 21 years old and drove my 30 year old brother and 4 of his friends to Cleveland and back in my clunker lime green Plymouth in exchange for their extra ticket/

Steelers lose 18-16; I drive five 30 year old drunks back to Pittsburgh!!

Sounds like a good deal! I went to a game in the late 70's and it was SUCH a drunk fest I barely remember it. 6 steelworkers from Canada ..I had a grand time but the haze predominates..:)
