Are last two games a must win?
Or if we lose next week along with Cincy then we only need to win week 17 to take the AFCN?
Or would a 9-7 Baltimore sneak into first if we finished 9-7 with a sweep over Cincy?

Ravens are likely winning out so the last two are must win if you want to win the division and have a home playoff game.

Right...was hoping they would lost at Houston next week but Ryan Fitzpatrick may have broken his fuckin' leg today....would be Pitt's Tom Savage under center.

Who also got hurt. Ravens can pencil in a win.

I hope the Ravens take that mentality.

I think they literally have no more QBs on their active roster. Will have to get a street FA or call some kid up from the practice squad.

The Texans punter or kicker was warming up at the end of the game.
They said he was a QB in HS.

Baltimore is the luckiest fucking team.
Assuming DEN beats CIN next week, winning either of our last two games should be enough to make the playoffs.
If CIN beats DEN and we lose to KC, we need help to get in at 10-6.

Baltimore got outplayed by the Jagoffs today. Never say never. If anyone can make a trash heep qb palatable in one week its BOB. Keep the faith.

We can't sweep Cincy and finish 9-7...we would be at worst 10-6.

First 4th and 26 I ever saw converted with a 23 yard gain.

and a blatant crackback block by Anquan Boldin right in front of the referee
One more win and the Steelers are probably in the playoffs (especially if it is against the Chiefs). I think the Bengals lose next week anyhow. So, even if we do lose, then I think a win will probably still get us a wild card on Week 17 with an outside shot at the division. I'd give us around a 75% chance of making the playoffs.

Dalton was terrible against the Browns, so yes- he is not playing well enough to beat Denver...a fact overshadowed by the fact Manziel was horrendous.
I like Pettine as a coach, but he blundered big time moving away from Hoyer to Manziel. I understand Hoyer has regressed badly, but there was no way Manziel was going to come in and play well.
You don't move away from your QB for an untested rookie when you still have the playoffs in sight.

IMO, Its going to take some help from other teams with only one more win. The Steelers have to win out if they expect to see the post season. Their playoffs start next week at home versus the chefs. The Steelers win out they are in the least a wild card possibly a 3 or 4 seed. Depending upon what other teams do/don't do.

If the Steelers win out, then they win the division. They will have a better record than the Bengals. They will have a better division record than the Ravens and win that tie breaker.

I don't think they need any help if the one win is against the Chiefs.
They will own all the tiebreakers against the remaining six loss teams, and there will only be one five loss team (Ravens, assuming they win out).
So that would give the Steelers the 6 seed.

I saw this today on CBS: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/standings/playoffrace
From what they are saying, we are "In" with a win versus the Chiefs. Nothing else needed. I didn't think that was right but I guess it is?

As far as I can tell, they're guaranteed at least a wildcard spot if they beat the Chiefs regardless of what any of the other AFC teams do the rest of the way. If they lose to the Chiefs and beat the Bengals, there's an outside chance of them missing the playoffs at 10-6.
I think it will take a superhuman effort vs the Chiefs to win. Just bad matchups on defense and offense.

I agree there are bad matchups re: their defense v our offense.
I disagree the reverse is true Not impressed with KC's offense.
PS It is true- they beat the Chiefs, they are in the playoffs as at least the 6 seed. All remaining 6 loss teams lose out to the Steelers on the conference record tiebreaker (Steelers would clinch at least an 8-4 conference record with a win over KC), and there would only be two other teams with fewer than 6 losses the Steelers would have to worry about- Cincy and Baltimore. Of those three teams, one of them has to win the division.
We win next week- we are in the dance.
