So he can basically bench press Dri Archer with one arm.

He is dumbell pressing 135 with a barbell for reps with stiff knees.

He might be able to hit a seated military press with 405...sick. sick, sick.

WTF. He could probably out handshake a Polar Bear. His grip strength is balancing 67.5 lbs per side to keep the bar level.

um, those are collar locks holding those plates in place - the bar doesn't stay anywhere near level.

even so... :o

Starting OLB next season and I don't even think twice about it.

Thats the most impressive thing, the bar not being level. If it was, it'd be a hell of a lot easier. Free weights vs. Fixed.

The guy's a beast.

Right. I guess what I was trying to say was it would take a lot of wrist strength to keep the bar from tipping all the way if one of the sides gets lower than the other.

The original Beast Mode, Mr. James Harrison.
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

Agreed. The man keeps the bar fairly balanced and does it what? 3-4 times one handed each? Impressive.

Is Jerv still re-habbing his snapped twig er uh wrist?

As of now Steney Jones is a lottery ticket at ROLB. Deebo needs to start at ROLB for this team to have a legitimate chance. I don't mind seeing Jerv at the less demanding LOLB. Nor do I mind seeing Moats take 15 or 20 snaps a game at ROLB to keep Deebo fresh for the whole season and playoffs.

I guess the 4th OLB will be the typical Steeler special. A kamikaze special teamer that you hope doesn't see any other playing time. Hopefully someone else give Worilds a ginormous contract.

I wonder if Jones could even stack Harrison's weights...
The Steelers are among the NFL’s worst teams in total offense (30th) and total defense (28th). Highest paid defense in the league by far. We are lucky to have Mike Tomlin.

With the risk of back injury I think Not.

I'm going to take a wild guess that James is not the only LB in the NFL capable of bell pressing a bar with that much weight.

This made me laugh.

Correction. In certain schemes and I doubt very much Deebo can play every defensive snap throughout the season. Age is a motherfucker even for the extremely athletically talented. JMO

Find Worilds replacement either through the draft or FA. And pray to baby Jesus that Jones steps it up.

If they go draft then Worilds replacement will need time to acclimate to the NFL. Say 1-2 years in best case scenario. That's where Deebo would be best suited. Role player. Young players getting a majority of the reps and Deebo coming in and destroying while cleaning up.

Sign Deebo. Just sign him. The guy is a Beast. Go ask Joe Flacco who took the full force of Deebo in the second Ravens game. And Deebo had to play his legs into shape. A 37 year old Deebo makes Jervis and Worilds look like high school kids.

Signing Deebo is predicated on whether he even wants to return. With LeBeau gone perhaps Deebo really is in the "hang 'em up mode" now and even if Deebo wishes to return how much will it cost and will the Steelers (backed up against the cap as per usual) be robbing from peter to pay paul? Is Worilds going to return? How much will that cost? Quite the predicament. Time will tell.

Besides being productive I like the idea of Deebo showing our guys how to work in the weight room and to take care of your body.
