pens vs blues

New lines
Perron sid horn
Kun Geno comeau
Sill in for downie
Everything else the same, if this doesn't work I would like to see perron get a shot with Geno, most national writers thought they would be the better fit since perron is more of a east west player like Geno

Good start.
That was some move by Crosby at the end of the period. Those post shots go in come the Spring.

It was a nice change to see sid drive the net when he knew he was going to pay the price. Good start for good guys. 2nd line had 5 of pens 10 shots, 1st line added three more

Johnston actually playing matchups

And all it took was JR threatening to blow up the team before the deadline if they didn't show they deserved to be there over the next two games.

Let's hope they keep it u[ fter the deadline regardless of whether there is another move or not.

What is it with the Pens and teams from the West and on the road?

I didn't think St Louis was very good last night but the Pens had a bit to do with that. It was weird to watch the birdies with a 3 goal lead. They tried to give some of it back late but they held on and got 2 big points.

A perceived threat or not this team still needs a good bit of tweaking.
