Pirates TWIBB Notes for Week 8 of 2015

Post by SteelPro » Mon Jun 01, 2015 6:17 pm

- Charlie Morton is the hero
- Mr. Nibbles is the zero
- I just don't understand why Locke is preferred over Worley
- Tony Watson hasn't given up a run in 6 weeks
- Pedro has shown much better situational awareness at the plate this year. However his defense is brutal.
- A.J. Burnett's entire season could be summed up by "hidden vigorish"

Liriano was dominating the Padres through 6 innings. He was under 100 pitches, albeit barely.

I fell asleep too bout the time Liriano was pulled.

Maybe Hurdle could have let him go around again, but it's not accurate to say he dominated the Padres through six.

He dominated them through two and got by through four. He was looking a little weaker every inning.

Pedro Alvarez is going to have to be a DH somewhere, I think. Dude just can't play defense no matter where you put him.

He struck out 11, gave up only 3 hits, and walked just 1. Not sure how that can be considered anything other than dominating. And he put the Padres down 1-2-3 in the 6th inning.

Great work Pro.
