Matheny pushed Rosenthal too far
Seeing these stories popping up everywhere...really getting annoyed with them.
"Oooh, poor Trevor pitched four times in five days. Ooh, he has back-to-back games of 20+ pitches".
Fuck that shit. He's on pace to pitch only 6 more innings than he did last year...only 1 more inning than he did in 2013. He had pitched 10 times in the last 17 days.
Just so much whining because Trevor's been nicked for runs in only four games...and three of them were Pirate games.
Oh for the days of Kent Tekulve, his 90+ appearances, and ~100 IP.
The Pirates kind of own you this year, Trevor. You're not overworked. Deal with it, Cardinals' fans.
