I'm hoping to start a different kind of prediction thread. Kind of like Stosh's predict the score thread, but with game stats instead. Doesn't have to be the entire box score.
I'm thinking :
Passing Yards
Rushing Yards
Interceptions
Pass TD
Run TD
Special teams - punt, KO, XP
Defensive sacks
You get the idea.
I'll start :
Vick throws for 225 yards, at least 1 interception/ pic6, TD.
Vick's completion percentage : 54%
Bell goes for over 120 yards rushing and 50 receiving, 2 TD's
Palmer throw for over 350 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT.
Fitzgerald gets a TD.
Steelers don't allow a 100 yards rushing.
Steelers go for 2 twice.
Cardinals also go for 2. Once.
Boswell makes all kicks.
Steelers D gets caught with one big offensive play for a TD.
AB gets 80 yards
Bryant gets 110, TD
Steelers get 4 sacks and Tuitt dominates.
Not sure how to turn this into a contest, but I'll gladly take suggestions. It's a work in progress.
What say you?

Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are, the pigeon is going to shit on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

Judging from only two responses, it seems this isn't of interest to anyone.

Sadly...
now if you would've started a thread on china dolls, potted plants, or riding something or someone, then...
BOOM!

It's not that it's not interesting. It's just, personally, stats are secondary to me. Unlike many in this fantasy football era, I could care less if Bell has 100 yards or 10, just so long as we win.
Ironically, when it comes to baseball, I'm all about the stats. I'm not sure why it's different for me. Until they come up with good stats to measure the effectiveness of OL and "in the trenches" players (and NO "PFF" has not come close to that, IMO), it'll be hard for me to get real excited about football stats.
Also, I am more of a fan of "after the fact" statistical based games like Strat-O-Matic, rather than fantasy.
