The way Fleury faded at the end of game 5, you had to do this.

Here's hoping the game off has rejuvenated Murray.

There was no other choice. And MAF seriously may have played his last game as a Pen because I think Murray plays exceptionally strong this game

My respect for Sully has just risen greatly.
Sully trusts Murray. Murray is Sully's man. Murray will play hard for Sully tonight, and in the future.

MAF had his chance, especially up 2-0. The cage was his if he simply didn't give it away. He effectively did with his Sunday night performance.

The right call. I think I may be sitting this one out tonight. If game 6 is the last game of the season I don't want to see it. Really down the last few days with how things have played out. Crosby is back to not shooting the puck after we all thought he'd broken through. Letang has almost single handedly turned the series against us starting with that double minor in game 4. Just a big letdown. I'll be hoping for game 7.

That is fair to say but I blame more than Fleury for Sunday night. The team blew the lead twice. That is how you lose series.

I thought Sullivan would stick with Fleury but credit him for having the guts to make a change. A lot of coaches would stick with Fleury but I think Sullivan believes that Murray is his best chance.

AGREED.

I think Fleury is as good as gone. Why pay him his contract to sit behind Murray next season, especially when if Murray would be injured in the playoffs your backstop would be MAF? Sully doesn't trust MAF in the clutch...he just said so when he opted for a 21-year old net minder over the veteran 7 years removed from winning the Cup.

I'm thinking the same thing...both for this and for JuJu.

The Penguins' best games in this series came when I was in the UK and couldn't watch.

(Which will lead to a huge quandary for Game 7 should I not watch tonight and the Penguins win...)

Quiters-just kidding.
My cheese steak streak was broken Sunday night. Thankfully, my cholesterol was taking a beating.

I just have this notion that the Pens season is not done-so I'm watching them win tonight.

So Sullivan is blowing it big by reinserting Murray, when all he has to do is buy you a ticket to London!

I think the key is for Jeemie to stay in London until after the Pens win the Cup.

It works out well for me that I would have to cancel another commitment tonight to see the game. So I just won't cancel - easy call.

I look forward to checking score updates on my phone as we coast to a W 8-)

I think the JuJu stuff is bullshit.....and my guess is that you guys, do as well.

That said, I'm watching it on delay as will be out celebrating Mrs. Swiss's 60th tonight. I'm probably not going to start watching until either 11:30...or possibly will go to bed and watch middle of the night, as I always, always, always, wake up sometime during the wee hours.

I like the move....even though I was a dumbfuck and support Fleury starting last week. Murray's more technically sound AND more mentally sound.

Best thing I read was that Sullivan tried to fix something that wasn't broken on Sunday.

It's the right call. It's Murray's to win.

Thanks for the memories, MAF.

I can get on board with that. Did MAF get hung out to dry? No. Did he let in 4 softies? No, but when your team is struggling (and Letang was) you need your goalie to really bail you out and he didn't.

Also, this wasn't a case of a guy who was coming back from a leg or arm injury where they can "test" it out. This was a concussion and there were reports he was having issues tracking the puck. Almost an impossible spot to succeed and that was my hesitancy, because MAF and Geno were arguably the team MVP's for the first half of the season

Yeah. Me too. If I can watch, I will watch. Right now I'm trying to figure out if it's gonna be scotch or whiskey.

I went out and got a bottle of Wild Turkey 101. I get out of my car and the bag breaks and now I have no bourbon and my shoes smell like a Kentucky distillery.
