Corey Davis Sucks

The video is just sick. If I were the team working him out and he did that, I'd be like-- that's enough. Let's go grab a beer.

My favorite offensive player in the draft.
I was hoping for déjà vu with Corey Davis.
In 2005 we had the 30th pick and there was this TE that could not work out due to a hernia injury, he lasted all the way to the end of round 1 where we took him.
This year I am hoping that teams do take QBs in round 1, that they do snatch up all the edge rushers, that there is a run on CBs and Ss. I hope that teams prefer Mike Williams, that they lust over Ross and his 4.2 speed. Then, maybe, just maybe Corey Davis is there at pick 30 and we take him.
He would give this offense a great complement to Brown and Bell. No gambling on Bryant and his reinstatement and subsequent good behavior, no gambling on the claw that Coates has to play with.
Also, Bryant is not going to be resigned by this team. We signed Brown, they want to sign Bell long term. One of the greatest reasons for drafting Corey Davis if he is there at the 30th pick, is that with that 5th year option, we would be guaranteed of having the trio of Brown, Bell and Davis together for a long time. That is mighty tempting, to be able to put together a trio like that and have them play together for 4 years at least, maybe 5.

I'd take him in a heartbeat if he's there. He's the best WR in this class and has a complete game.

For me it's a flip of the coin between Davis and Njoku...

I agree.
I like both of these players but if I had to choose between the 2? Corey Davis all day.

Mock draft live last night on the NFL network did a nice 5 minute segment on the impact MAC players have had in recent years. Of course Ben, James, and AB were highlighted. They even showed Leftwich. No Batch though.
In the right situation (New Orleans, Tampa, Cincy) Corey Davis will have a Michael Thomas like rookie season. 60+ catches 1000 yds and 8 TDs.

Davis is similar in size, speed, and combine numbers to AJ Green. If he played at a bigger school he'd be a Top 10 pick for sure.
That ankle is worrying.

Since 1974, Steelers have taken a 1st round WR in the draft when they had a #1 WR in place only once-- Louis Lipps in '84, when Stallworth was coming off a season lost to injury.
Much as I love Corey Davis and much as the Steelers supposedly are looking Rd 1 or 2 for WR... that's the recipe for a trade down, if ever I saw one.

ESPN did a mock draft last night that I was sort of tracking while at work and they had Pittsburgh drafting Davis at #30. I would not mind in the least the picking of Davis. I really do not want Baltimore to take him. That would be a pain in the ass for years to come.
