More Tomlin shadiness with the Injury Reporting
Coates had groin surgery too as well as the hand
I think Tomlin has turned into a complete utter jackass on more matters he even knows. Baffoon, Yes, Potted Plant maybe
Sammie Coates - WR - Steelers
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports Sammie Coates is recovering from sports-hernia surgery only, and not a hand operation.
Coates' offseason health has gotten majorly muddled. It was reported last month he underwent hand surgery. It was then revealed Tuesday he underwent the sports-hernia operation, with the belief being it was in addition to the hand procedure. Now Fowler confirms Coates is recovering from just the hernia surgery. Coates' hand was a major issue during the season, while he was never listed with his groin. It's the second offseason inconsistency with the Steelers' injury report. The team could be staring at league punishment.

On the plus side maybe this is why Coates wasn't seeing the field more. Although he did have the big drop against NE, I think if he can be on the field every down his confidence will grow.

Is it wrong for me to hope for this?!
I am completely loyal to the Steelers.
I have ZERO loyalty left to Mikey T.
He is our own worst enemy...

this just came out, Fowler corrected his original story.
Not sure why it's not getting more discussion.
PBGH radio spent 2 mins on it
I totally see us getting docked a draft pick and a major fine. This is just Tomlin's incompetence

Seahawks received no punishment, not a chance the Steelers do. Neither Coates nor Bell missed practice time, pretty sure Sherman did.

This better not mean that we can't complain about Tomlin.

Haha, have at it.
I don't see Tomlin going anywhere, so I don't see the point in hoping he looks like a fool by having the Steelers docked a draft pick. I know that wasn't necessarily what you're referring to.

I heard he's going to be working with Limas Sweed during the offseason.

Or Ben Roethlisberger in your case.

Looks like Coates never had hand surgery and his fingers are all fucked up.
That seems utterly absurd. What the he'll is going on with this team's medical staff?

Diff b/w me and you, however, is that while I give Ben all kinds of credit and openly admit he's a hall of fame lock and admit that he often makes jaw dropping plays, all you do is moan about Tomlin.

Bleacher Report had an article confirming that someone spoke to the author about seeing Coates and admitted he was recovering from groin surgery and that his fingers were a mess. Appeared to have fingers broken up like an ex-lineman.

Saw Sammie Coates fingers yesterday. Mangled like a lineman. Probably not good for a WR. #Steelers

Maybe his hands don't require surgery? It makes me wonder sometime, how so many Americans think surgery is some miracle cure of all that ails us. Just a general statement not pointed at you.

Because free markets made healthcare a commodity. It's treated like bath soap, economically, so people think of it like bath soap. Americans think a pill will fix everything, because that's how it's been sold to them. They can continue bad eating habits and a sedentary lifestyle, and then expect modern advancements to allow them to continue. Because capitalism finds cures for everything, right?
Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are, the pigeon is going to shit on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

in some ways I agree with you. But people being fat, lazy, and quick fix oriented is more of a cultural thing in my opinion. I don't think socialized health care will make people more health conscious. I guess you could blame marketing and the free market of fast food, but that's a slippery slope.

Actually, no.
I made a social commentary on an economic system. You make it partisan politics because anything that doesn’t paint capitalism like a gift from god is liberal bullshit. I call that conservative bullshit. Nothing is perfect, especially humans.
Some people have difficulty distinguishing politics from economics/ social sciences.

I don't understand how his fingers could be "mangled".
And if they really are that badly screwed up, his career as a WR has to be over.

Didn't Isaac Bruce or Torry Holt hold up their fingers one time at a press conference and they were mangled?
Edit: Just found it
