I for one have always been a fan. He was a big reason for the win yesterday. He helped get the SuperBowl against the Cardinals. He is a very good player and the insults he has gotten in the past from Steeler fans are wrong.
Also to see him reach out to Rice is a good thing.

True. he's going to have to do a lot more to convince me to buy his jersey

Pretty sure sales of the Gay jersey aren't good.
I wasn't a fan.
Props to him for steeping up.
Especially as Taylor is quickly stepping down.

The Steelers are among the NFL’s worst teams in total offense (30th) and total defense (28th). Highest paid defense in the league by far. We are lucky to have Mike Tomlin.

Not sure what all the fuss is about Michael Sam.
We have the best openly Gay player in the NFL right now.

And with the 221st pick in the 2015 draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Sam E. Richardson, cornerback, from Iowa State...
Kiper: Richardson is 5'7 if you put him on stilts and 180 soaking wet, but I really like his tenacity in getting after the football.

Corners are interchangeable parts on this defense, just like WRs are on the other side. They'll just keep going with mid and late rounders and UDFAs. I think TE or OT or even OLB is much more likely.

Agree that's what we'll do. I also think it's the right way to think about building a team.
ESPN did a story on Willie's history a few years back:
