We beat Cleveland. 4-2

Panthers beat Bengals 3-2

Bucs beat Ravens 3-3

Browns 2-3

Remote I know but I can see it. I say its 50-50 we beat Cleveland. Maybe even higher than that for us. Ben owns them. 18-1. Best record for a qb vs another team in NFL history. Next closest I saw was Roger Staubach vs Giants. Haden out. Phil Taylor out. Hoyer is playing well but he is still not the second coming of Unitas or anything. Couple of turnovers go our way. Shazier may be back. Bell and Blount go off. Come on. As weird as we have looked this year this is a very winnable game.

Cam vs Dalton. Bengals on a short week after getting blowed up on national tv. Could have a hangover. Panthers were thought of as a good team just a few weeks ago. Wouldn't be a shocker.

Same with Ravens. They are due for a Ray Rice distraction let down game. They have had crazier losses on the road in the past. Bucs are playing hard.

Worst case scenario would be this.

Bengals 4-1
Ravens 4-2
Browns 3-2
Steelers 3-3

Not good but not horrible either.

So cheer up Steeler fans. Long way to go.

Panthers beating the Bengals and Bucs beating the Ravens is very very very unlikely to happen.

The Panthers and Bucs are bottom 5 teams. Perhaps bottom 3 teams in the NFL. The Bungs stunk it up in prime time but they will bounce back in a huge way.

Steelers beating Browns: 50/50
Bucs beating Ravens: 20/80
Panthers beating Bengals: 5/95

Looks like WR Green just re-aggravated his toe injury in practice and they carted him off. Good for SBI

Remember the 2013 Steelers through 5 weeks? This team is much better than that team, a metamorphosis is taking place. I'm still predicting 10-6 overall. First place on Sunday night? MJG is not that optimistic.

I like those odds RooneyTunes. SBI

Can you imagine this board should this all unfold as you've suggested? Holy shit!

I don't think Carolina is a bottom 5 team, no way.

They beat a talented Chicago team that beat a talented SF team that beat a talented Dallas team.

Only thing that is certain in the nfl right now is there are no undefeated teams and roger goodell is a cock sucker. It's still very much up for grabs. Time for Tomlin and Ben to start taking teams to the woodshed. I'd be totally on board with Ben going full on AWOL right now and ripping the headset out of his helmet. Haley will only bring this team down.

Agree with this, Carolina is a quality team, and the potential loss of AJ Green only helps their chances....also don't be too shocked if the Bucs beat the Gayvens, they play hard they've been in every game this year except the Thursday nighter in the ATL. Lost to Carolina by 6, STL by 2 and took NO to OT in the dome, and have been better with Glennon. Gayvens are only favored by 3 currently.

@RossTuckerNFL
I asked Marvin Lewis if AJ Green had turf toe. "It's a little bit more than that" https://twitter.com/RossTuckerNFL/statu ... 5878912000

Hmmm.... perhaps Green is out for a stint then?

More on the Green toe injury...

Chicago is all over the place. Brandon Marshall has been a shell of himself due to injury. The Bears defense has been held together by a rookie CB after the loss of Peanut Tillman. They are 2-3.

Dallas was a mess early in the season. Romo couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. SF is still a mess.

Comparative rankings relative to other hurting teams shouldn't make anyone sleep easier. We didn't play the 2013 Carolina Panthers.

Your record is what it is and Carolina is currently 3-2 and in first place in the NFC South. This coming off a season that they won the NFC South (indicating they are not a fluke).

Calling them a bottom 5 team when Jacksonville, Tampa Bay, Oakland, Washington, NY Jets, St. Louis and Tennessee all exist in the NFL is clearly an exaggeration.

I'm expecting steelers to win, Cinn to win a close one against Carolina (aided by at least one D TD) and TB to beat Baltimore.

Cinn 4-1
Pitt 4-2
Balt 3-3
Clev 2-3

You have no idea what you're talking about regarding Carolina. They are a good team when healthy.

They have a ton of injuries, but are still talented enough to give Cinci a game.

I dunno, we beat the crap out of them and we're not a good team. Then Baltimore beat the crap out of them the following week. I'm not convinced Baltimore is a good team either.

Carolina had a horrible two weeks back to back. They bounced back a little this past week. I'm pretty sure they aren't as bad as they looked against Pitt and Balt. Time will tell. The Bucs have been scrapping and Baltimore just made the Colts defense look like the 86 Bears. The scenario is possible and will be fun to root for.

The big issue is that steelers need to win their game.
