BSPN about to drop bombshell article on Pats

Post by StillerDownSouth » Fri Jan 05, 2018 1:54 am

According to Bruce Allen on twitter, ESPN will be releasing an article tomorrow morning at 8AM about a power struggle between Kraft, the Cheat, and Brady...article says several Patriots think this will be their last yr together. Maybe Cowherd has been right all along, saying Belichik will be leaving soon. My personal hunch is he is going to take the Giant job.

Thats a good question, can’t find anything on the web, Pats are so damn secretive about everything.

I just wonder which one of the trio will break ranks and finally admit it was Ernie and the cheating that deserve all the credit.

Any chance he aligns with one of the buyer groups? Cleveland?

Daily story up here Behind Enemy Lines goes like this:

Belichick wanted to keep Garoppolo....would have been willing to keep him over Brady. Kraft, loyalty to Brady, ordered Belichick to deal Jimmy G. Beli is pissed, deals Jimmy G to 49ers, doesn't even entertain other offers, like Clowns, who wanted him and would have given Pats more.

Then....there's the Alex Guerrero thing, too.

Belichick's also looking at losing both of his coordinators, his personnel guy.

Giants just hired a GM; Belichick's not going there.

This is it. I also reported on a story that Belicheat may go to the Giants due to this and the Kraft overrule story is a fact. (Cowherd)

No one cared to comment :D

He is a Boston guy.

Here's some wild speculation....heard from no one. How 'bout Ravens fire Harbaugh, hire Belichick with Maryland roots. Only thing is, he would be stuck with Joe Fucco. Really piss off Kraft and go to Colts, depending on medicals on Luck.

You may be on to something Swiiss, Belichick being the dick he is, I could see this happening as well. I do not think Bill will be coaching in New England next year. They have been together a long time, I foresee a messy divorce coming.

The patriot faithful have had a thread going most of the football year about this underbelly story

They're saying it's like the Beatles breakup

It's been creeping out by several writers amid the jag trade, plus the Guerrero story too.

This poster over there has an interesting take, he is one of the better posters

As a back seat GM and water cooler gossip monger….lets toss out some crap for digestion:

-No doubt in my mind Guerrero is the Pats snitch. The guy is an opportunist extraordinaire / snake oil salesmen who has never passed up a chance to operate in dark zones. He's Brady's BFF /confidant….he's been recently scorned by the organization…and all of a sudden we're learning about Brady's maneuvering? Surprise surprise.

-I absolutely believe Brady went to Bob Kraft to make sure his place in the organization is secure for the foreseeable future. At some point we all need to accept that even TB12 doesn't believe he should be treated like every other player. He understands his special status and used it to his advantage. Whether BB was actually considering dumping Brady after the season will likely be never known, but Brady no doubt remembers that Bill sought out his replacement four years ago.

-Who knows what the BB / Brady relationship is really like. Bill doesn't seem like the type of guy players confide in with intimate details and I have never heard of anything more than a coach/player relationship between the two. But we know Brady sees Kraft as a father figure and that is a meaningful relationship in Brady's world….someone he could easily confide in. I think so.

-BB is a pragmatist. He is only sentimental in the offseason when he talks about former players. He prefers to live in the now. And now, he has a 40 yr old QB who has been the only 40 yr old QB to defy mother nature. The pragmatist cannot believe this anomaly will continue much longer…..especially if the creator of Brady's road to eternal youth happens to be a snake oil salesman who he just tossed out of the building. I also believe Bill prefers certainty. Brady could walk away at any time, Brady could age over night. Brady's special status could become too much of a distraction. Garappolo offered none of these uncertainties.

-I have also wondered how long BB could tolerate Kraft. Working for anyone for almost two decades has to wear on the parties involved. BB is grinding out the sausage every day securing an unprecedented level of success while helping boost Kraft's net worth in multiples never seen before. I'm surprised this board has never tossed around the subject: Does BB deserve an ownership stake in NE? Has Brady been promised an ownership stake after retirement?

-Which gets me to Jonathan….aka……lucky sperm club member who is likely chomping at the bit to take control sooner rather than later….God help us. Though I speculate about giving away pieces of equity to coach and QB, I doubt the Kraft spawn would be eager to divy up crumbs from their inevitable slices.
Regarding who is demanding credit for the Pats success, I can easily see Jonathan puffing his chest out proclaiming the Krafts stir this drink.

One topic I've never read about is the succession plan when Bob leaves us. Typically the tax burden is too severe for families to retain their teams, especially at current valuations.

We'll see what the hit piece says. Without any real idea what is going on, I can only comment on human nature and survival instincts. Money, power, status…….all that is missing is some steamy……..

So what gives a better narrative for the NFL?

BB and TB win their sixth together before taking the long and winding road, or the Steelers win one for Shaz, which allows Goodell to piss on James Harrison to boot?

Wonder if all of this started when deflategate happened, if I recall correctly didn’t Bill kind of hang Brady out to dry during his presser?

I want to watch BB being tortured by the media with question after question, as he tries unsuccessfully to steer things back to the game at hand, eventually getting into a staring contest. Good that those assholes will be dealing with a distraction; I can only hope it snowballs.

That post I quoted from their board has some real gems

The story has been brewing and espn got insiders to talk

The exiled snake oil guy has to be one of the hit jobs

He’s got Brady so warped with a scam that Tom fell pray to it

Hey we have the corner on drama this year

I think we proved we can get by them

We have that why not us factor

Of course...worse would be a “Drew Brees is still a true Saint...let’s give him his second one” story.

I love your optimism, man --- and I felt the same way when we played them a couple weeks ago

But the bottom line is, we still have TODD FUCKING HALEY as the OC, and he will never ever beat BB, esp. not in Foxboro.

No, the only way to #7 for us is, KC upsets NE up there, and then we play the AFCCG at home. That is not totally far-fetched, as KC already won up there this year.

I'm also convinced that BB signed Deebo for that re-match game against KC so that Deebo can ass-rape the KC LT all day. Smart guy that he is, again outmaneuvering our dumbass management who cut him for no reason.
