I’m not normally a fan of leagues manipulating schedules for ratings, but backloading schedules with mostly divisional games is one my favorite trends in sports right now.

It basically makes the playoffs start a few weeks sooner. It’s extending the playoffs without actually extending the playoffs.

I can’t even believe I’m saying this right now, but we’re officially in the driver’s seat for that last playoff spot.
