Can "old" QB's win Super Bowls?
Consider this:
@WillGravesAP: Only one QB since John Elway retired has won a Super Bowl at age 32 (Roethlisberger's age) or later: Brad Johnson (34) w/2002 Bucs.
I'm a homer so I'll say yes, but I found that interesting.

100% yes. Its not going to happen every year and of course you have to have the right situation. Your qb can't be eating up a boat load of cap space.. That's been part of the problem. Qb wins SB and they get new contracts and take up a lot of cap space.

It will be nice to see Ben finish his career as the youngest QB to ever win a SB and the oldest QB to ever win one.
Put an adequate defense on the field and surround Ben with a shit ton of weapons and another SB or two is very possible for Ben.
What isn't likely is Ben pulling shit out his ass at the rate he did when younger and gettin away with it.
He needs another legit threat at WR and an actual TE that can threaten a defense.
Big Miller fan but his days as #1 should have ended this year.

Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 88 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.

Fluff crap garbage. The sample is so small that is meaningless. Personally Im glad to see that Ben is in great shape. Everything else I'm sort of the B2b FC corner.

Quarterbacks don't win Super Bowls. Teams win Super Bowls.
“ But Brian was the quarterback. He lay on the ground like a sniper had shot him, so they threw me out. It’s big entertainment now, protect the quarterback, $200 to your favorite charity.”

Why? Why consider a stupid stat from a small sample size?
It would be more relevant if he was inferring from team colors.
Or length of last name.
That stat couldnt be any more pointless.
Good thing assclown Graves wasnt publishing his crap or Plunkett would have just retired.

People discount the motivation of "prove it" contract seasons. Fucking Joe Flacco looked like Joe Montana over a 4 game stretch when millions of potential dollars were on the line. Just imagine what a motivated Ben could do. Paying him 2 years in advance of his contract being up would actually do him and the team a disservice.

Ding.
This discussion is meaningless.

They may not win Super Bowls, but they sure can lose them. See the Elway, John. As a young guy no less.
