Steelers at Ravens Game Comments and Bedwetting
Re: Steelers at Ravens Game Comments and Bedwetting
We win the division if we win our last 2. OR
If we lose to KC and beat the Bengals, and the Ravens lose to either Texans or Browns.

Nah Steelers will beat chiefs. Can’t see chiefs winning that. Bengals might actually be in it for playoffs. I think they will play Steelers backups and get in 9/8. Steelers win against chiefs they rest starters
This game dish really matter
Positive is tank dell had gruesome injury and Steelers might play them. Sbi
Chris jones is hurt and Taylor too. Steelers are healthy Steelers win.
Chiefs need the win next week to wrap up bye
To say this game didn’t matter because no worrie we will win in KC next game is folly and odd

Chiefs win a bye with one win in two matches. They are away to Denver in week 18. They play against us on a short week, 3rd match in 10 or 11 days. Surely gives more sense to heal the wounds and try to win in Denver after 11 days´ rest.

I may have heard wrong but I thought the announcers in the KC game said they secured the 1 seed.K_C_ wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2024 12:28 amYou’re wrong.Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2024 12:24 amKC won't have anything to play for on Christmas.
Several players will be back.
At home.
So the Steelers will win.
Buffalo is right on KC’s tail and owns the tie breaker.
KC will go all out to win.
Secure NHALS early and then go deep into the PLAYOFFS.

Yes
Secure NHALS early and then go deep into the PLAYOFFS.

My mistake
That does give them a better chance
Still bad loss today in pure outcome and manner

Also, kudos to youSteeler_Fanatic wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2024 9:26 pmNot bold prediction: Rats break the shneid in a blowout. Steelers have too many holes and Tomlin has zero capacity for adaptation.
Feats of strength as well

If we're talking the Mark Andrews TD, that appeared to be Cam Sutton's FU

playing just one game against the hapless giants away from their bye while we are working on our 2nd 3games inside 11day run since our bye also was evident. they just were more energized when pouncing on loose balls than Steelers players were it can be a run to get to a late bye but if u can stay alive til then it makes a huge difference in the little things like that when against a mid season or early bye team. the ravens have a cumaltive rest advanyage against their opponents this yr of i think 13games an nfl record advantage. it matters in the marginsbradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2024 1:17 amI mean, the Steelers got the breaks and the bounces for like 4 years running, so they were due.

Can't play man vs Lamar... A. he has two of the 4 best NFL WRs vs man and 2. he can run with the defense's backs turned.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2024 10:34 pmIt’s when they roll out the zone defense with a bunch of shitty zone defenders, Minkah included

I remember saying this before the season started-- the Steelers defense is eventually gonna get figured out in terms of needed to alternate personnel and formation in order to be successful. They're very good at trying to focus and slow down one aspect of your offense but if the offense can do multiple things from each formation/personnel set, the PIT D struggles.stillcajun wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2024 10:47 pmThey are running on our Nickel and passing on our base. Steelers better make adjustments fast.
Minor nitpick...CzechSteeler wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2024 12:35 amYes. R n we have some division record, but we have better conference record.
Common games is the tiebreaker in question, not conference record.
Which winning out would enable us to win because we would have 3 losses in common games (Eagles, Cowboys, Browns) and the Ravens would have at least 4 (Raiders, Eagles, Chiefs, Browns).
The tiebreaker between the Ravens and Steelers will either be common game record or strength of victory. There's no scenario left where conference record will be the tiebreaker because if we end up tied in common games, we will also be tied in conference record (because currently we have a one game lead on the Ravens in both).
Just sayin'

Unless Mahomes sits, there is zero chance they beat the ChiefsJtf wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2024 12:36 amNah Steelers will beat chiefs. Can’t see chiefs winning that. This game dish really matter
Particularly playing them on 4 days rest, after playing the eagles and ravens inside a week

The win vs KC was hardly inspiring of that kind of praise. They couldn't even score a TD.rooneytunes wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2024 11:22 pmWas the last playoff win in 2016 against KC truly the biggest win this team has had in almost 9 years?
I mean yea, we won Division in 2017 and 2020.Also had some back into the playoffs wins. But can't remember any season defining, put the rest of the league on notice , holy shit the Steelers are elite, top 5 teams wins
I've decided that those that say Wilson's height is a disadvantage are correct.
He misses players WTFO in the middle of the field because he's too short to see them.
The 4th down play where he heaved to Austin? If he heaves that on time, Austin has a huge play before the defender gets there to break it up. They even showed the behind the Steelers end zone replay of this and the camera angle as almost right on Russ' sight line, and you couldn't see Austin until late- Austin was already wide open before this.
Earlier in the game he missed Freiermuth a couple of times over the middle on plays that would have been first downs.
I think it's a real problem.
