Got really going once in a great while, but just never enough. No vision, always missed the holes. One might conclude, "Couldn't find his own ass with both hands."
Great --- Now who's Tomlin going to send in to wreck the offensive momentum if Warren's tearing it up?

Nice kid, but should've cut bait 2 years ago. No vision, too slow, absolutely zero break-away threat, ran hard a few games last season.
Too little, too late.

The best thing about Najee in his 4 years was he never missed a game.
68 for 68
And 3 for 3 in playoffs.
Other than that... see above notes.

Maybe it's just the doldrums of the off-season in full swing, but I expected far more bukkake in this thread, with the amount of.furious wailing this board did every time dude touched the football.

Anyone calculate how long it would take to get from Pittsburgh to LA 3 yards at a time?

We're going to miss his smile and positive personality, as well as his compelling backstory.
I feel bad for the Steelers' PR team.
“We’ve got to write that story. We’ve got enough talent, we’ve got enough schematics to do big, big things. When I say big things, I’m talking about historic things.”

I'm going to miss seeing those 3-5 yard runs that should have been 10-15 with a back that had just a bit more speed. IMO, nothing held this offense back more than Najee. His lack of pace to the edge combined with the jurassic playcalling made it so so easy for defenses.
We better draft someone that has speed and vision would be nice too.

I’ll never miss the avoidance of a hole in order to run into a pile. He was also elite at getting wrapped up by a 200 lb. Db behind the line.

I thought that was the worst thing: mediocre but always available means...always mediocre.

Najee will do better on an offense that puts literal blinders on him, tells him where the hole is going to be before each snap, and asks him to not try and think and just run like a Frankenstein through it. As long as you can do that, he can be successful. Asking him to do anything beyond that is a laughable stretch.

TRUE....
maybe Warren getting 18-20 carries a game more often would have forced Tomlins hand sooner.

Giving up that second rd pick is going to bite them in the ass

Yes. The Metcalf trade was stupid.

Yep
Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 81 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.

Jibbs is likely in Khans office right now crying to Omar that he better draft a slow footed bell cow to replace Naj.

While I won't miss Harris...
I contend he'll look better in LA than he ever did in Pittsburgh. They have a run scheme more suited to his talents.
I think they'd be smart to have him slim down. The Steelers had him add weight every year of his career and it showed.
