Nuggets fire Malone two years after title

Post by Dan Smith--BYU » Tue Apr 08, 2025 7:23 pm

Same happened with the Lakers, Bucks won it all and after Suns went to the finals.

There is a metaverse where Tomlin is fired in 2012. How many titles do we win from 2014-18?

What happened to Stockton?

Eagles fired Peterson and LSU fired Orgeron.

The idea that a SB win vs a 9-7 team with another coaches' guys in a year that Brady was out entitles you to lifetime employment is insane.

And came within a cunt hair of losing to the 9-7 team in what would have been the worst 4th quarter defensive collapse in SB history had Benjisan and Santonio Holmes not bailed his ass out.
Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 81 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.

Being the masochist I am, the scenario of Fitzgerald's TD being the game winner sometimes haunts my dreams. And John Madden called it out earlier..that the safeties were split too wide. I would be still lashing myself with wet noodles (I'm a wimpy masochist when it comes down to it..lol) that the fat fuck Madden would have been correct. What would Lebeau's image look like if we had lost that game in that fashion? Or do we think Tomlin played a massive role in defensive play calling and scheme in the biggest game of his life?

Well SWB, I can't really say you'd be wrong, but at least you could perhaps dial back your self-noodle-flagellation (that sounds bad  ) regarding Madden being correct ... On that play he was, but he was batting 50/50 during that broadcast after being, well, the fat fuck, protesting and whining and bitching repeatedly about how Harrison should've been ejected for forcefully taking out the Aaron Francisco on punt coverage. Especially galling in light of all the totally illegal / immoral violent plays Oakland committed (including the horrible paralysis-causing Darryl Stingley hit by Tatum and that fucker Atkinson's concussion-causing (twice!) headhunting of Lynn Swann) that Madden presided over during his Raider coaching days.

Did enjoy some of his commentary but, the "fat fuck" label was still well-deserved, and coincidentally, SB 43 was his final game in the announcing booth before retiring. Sayonara!

Now Budenhozer from PHX is unemployed. He won it all in '21.

Now imagine a multiverse where Tomlin is unemployed in 2012.

Reid and Belichick were fired but not Magic Mike.

But but but Magic Mike makes Dunce feel all warm & cozy.

Can’t possible change head coaches.

Might go 8-9 instead of the oh so highly valued 9-8 and possible participation trophy blow-out loss in the playoffs.

And if we miss the playoffs it’s an “ah shucks we were oh so close” gaslighting bullshit.
