One more traditional thread, where posters can bravely go on record with what they would have done with our draft slots. And accept slings and arrows in draft future perpetuity when you propose passing on the next TJ Watt (we mostly did). That said, last year everyone passing on Fautanu for Brian Thomas Jr (or quinyon mitchell) isn’t causing much embarrassment as yet.
For me:
1.21 Derrick Harmon. Would’ve traded if I could, and Conerly is probably a better prospect than either Broderick Jones or Fautanu, but Harmon is fine here.
3.83 Xavier Watts, S, Notre Dame. Top guys at a lot of positions here, and RB was still very deep.
4.123: Dylan Sampson, RB, Tennessee. Giddens available here too.
5.164: Yahya Black, DT, Iowa. Sure.
6.185: Myles Hinton, OT, Michigan. I don’t dislike QB here, but if there’s actual players of note, I’d take them ahead of emergency QB3 prospects.
7.226: Bruener, LB. Fine.
7.229: Cobee Bryant, CB, Kansas. He’s actually very good at football, which is potentially useful in a CB.
2025 Hindsight Draft
You beat me to it!
Here's a link to last year's thread: https://forumsnew.sportsandshit.com/vie ... =2&t=23106
Here's who I went with last year:
1.20: Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU
2.51: Zach Frazier, C, West Virginia
3.84: Payton Wilson, LB, NC State
3.98: Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, S, Texas Tech
4.119: Isaac Guerendo, RB, Louisville
6.178: Travis Glover, T, Georgia State
6.195: Khristian Boyd, DT, Northern Iowa
Overall, very happy with this one. BTJ and Frazier were awesome rookies, Wilson and Taylor-Demerson showed plenty of flashes, and Guerendo looks to be a player. I'd take a draft like that every day of the week.
Now onto this year:
1.21: Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
3.83: Charles Grant, OT, William & Mary
4.123: Joshua Farmer, DT, Indiana
5.164: Chris Paul Jr, LB, Ole Miss
6.185: Damien Martinez, RB, Miami
7.226: Nick Nash, WR, San Diego St.
7.229: Hollin Pierce, T, Rutgers
