Does Omar add a significant WR2 before trade deadline?

I predict they’ll do something. But that move will be nothing more than a move designed to gaslight the fans.
This team is 100% bout optics and couldn’t care less bout actually winning.
Bunch of fucking frauds.

I dont see the see the Steelers really having to trade up to get a Qb in 2026
If they want Mendoza, Simpson or a guy that could be a superstar or a massive bust like Sellers, they are damn sure going to have to trade up.steelmann58 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 26, 2025 4:05 amI dont see the see the Steelers really having to trade up to get a Qb in 2026

I say No.
A worthy Corner in my opinion would be the best option.
‘Rumor’ has it the seahags could be interested in trading CB Woolen.
That could be a better fit for an ailing, aged out secondary player that was burnt crispy recently.
Replace slay with Woolen….

I all for solidify the weakest spot on this team and don’t see them really trading for a Wr
This just in:
Both Olave and Shaheed are turnover machines.

Have not read the thread yet.
Honestly think a lot of this question will be determined by what C. Austin III and Washington do vs Green Bay.

The.Saints dont want to trade Olave.
And we have competition for Shaheed. And even that's assuming whatever knocked him out of the game today isn't serious.
If we can extract Calvin Ridley out of Tennessee, that might be interesting.

Good god, why? They need 2 cb’s and 2 safeties. Probably an ILBJizz Mop wrote: ↑Tue Oct 14, 2025 5:45 pmWe all see the constant rumors/inquiries on the interweb regarding our desire to add an upgrade at WR behind DK.
I’ve seen the following names mentioned (this is not the entire list)
Jakobi Meyers
Chris Olave
Rashid Shaheed
Jaylen Waddle
Garrett Wilson
AJ Brown (think he and Wilson are pipe dreams)
So here’s the question:
Will we add one?
Who will it be?
And who is no longer with us to make that happen?
My guess:
Yes, Olave, (yes I know his medical history) and Pat Fry or Highsmith or Saints take back draft capital which might be too high
They are going to look foolish making a trade.
Any idiot can see this team cannot contend with this defense.
They should be selling. Not buying.

If I'm an owner, and I see my team leading the division after eight games, with a 1.5 game lead on the closest contender (who just lost to a zero win team) and my GM decides to starts moving a bunch of assets for draft picks, I'm firing that GM and his entire staff straight into the heart of the sun.

If anything they should be doing whatever they can to unload Watt, Highsmith, Slay, and Muth at this point, they should be sellers not buyers.
Ya but think of all the fun they can have with TJ “retiring a Steeler”??StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Mon Oct 27, 2025 9:35 pmIf anything they should be doing whatever they can to unload Watt, Highsmith, Slay, and Muth at this point, they should be sellers not buyers.
Optics and shit like that are all this team cares about.
