Gainwell runs and cringes when contact is approaching. Never seen a running back do that.

CHALLENGE THAT BULLSHIT.
Tomlin absolutely should have challenged the spot.

If he was short of the marker, he was JUST short...and they marked it a good half yard short.

Can anyone explain why Connor Heyward does the Tush Push instead of the Outlier?

Not a single person on the OL got any push at all.

We went from not running this play when everyone else was, to now proving to everyone why it's not automatic (no doubt to Tomlin's shock)

Unless the whistle blew, it looked fairly clear that Heyward got beyond the line to gain before he was down.

Looked like a makeup call. Sure as hell seemed like the pile moved enough.

I don't think he came close.

Heyward didn't even move when he took the snap.

If he got it, it was likely after the whistle was blown because it never really got going.

Bears can't stop the run. Chance to go up 10 on the road getting the ball next half. We would have bitched, but kicking the FG was the right call there.

I hate the Steelers version of the tush push.. let’s use one man less than permitted to move the pile 12 inches..

Trading Pickens was so mind numbingly dumb
They weren’t going to re-sign him so it’s a matter of getting a 3rd round pick in 26 or 27. They weren’t winning a title this year with him anyway.
If that's true, they should have traded him for a WR in this year's draft. Instead, they ended up with one WR, who's now on the sideline hurt.

You don’t hit the billiards with the smaller ball. If we used Washington all of the billiard balls would be smaller.

Heyward definitely made the first down

Plays like that are why you question the legitimacy of the league

That was a clear 1st down

Meanwhile the Jets are playing the Rats tough today. Still scoreless.
Secure NHALS early and then go deep into the PLAYOFFS. :D :D :D

They nailed that spot.

The spot on 4th might have been a different question. I guess they blew forward progress.

Absolutely the FG was the play. He ran the play with Gainwell for the FG then went with his gut.
