Huge, huge momentum changer.
Always goes this way for these motherfuckers.

Gainwell runs and cringes when contact is approaching. Never seen a running back do that.
Tomlin absolutely should have challenged the spot.
If he was short of the marker, he was JUST short...and they marked it a good half yard short.

also an uncalled facemask on the third down

Can anyone explain why Connor Heyward does the Tush Push instead of the Outlier?

Unless the whistle blew, it looked fairly clear that Heyward got beyond the line to gain before he was down.

Looked like a makeup call. Sure as hell seemed like the pile moved enough.
I don't think he came close.
Heyward didn't even move when he took the snap.
If he got it, it was likely after the whistle was blown because it never really got going.

For the record, I do not like the wide screen to a tight end

Are we trying to lose?

I hate the Steelers version of the tush push.. let’s use one man less than permitted to move the pile 12 inches..

If that's true, they should have traded him for a WR in this year's draft. Instead, they ended up with one WR, who's now on the sideline hurt.Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 6:07 pmThey weren’t going to re-sign him so it’s a matter of getting a 3rd round pick in 26 or 27. They weren’t winning a title this year with him anyway.

You don’t hit the billiards with the smaller ball. If we used Washington all of the billiard balls would be smaller.Stillerz Bar wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 6:57 pmCan anyone explain why Connor Heyward does the Tush Push instead of the Outlier?

Heyward definitely made the first down
Plays like that are why you question the legitimacy of the league
That was a clear 1st down

Meanwhile the Jets are playing the Rats tough today. Still scoreless.
Secure NHALS early and then go deep into the PLAYOFFS.

Oh that's right...it was replay assist.
They fucked that up

You say that like Tomlin doesn't want to run every down the rest of the waybradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 6:59 pmIf that's true, they should have traded him for a WR in this year's draft. Instead, they ended up with one WR, who's now on the sideline hurt.
