Adam Thielen Available To The Steelers
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/adam ... contender/

Of the teams that could use a WR, Pittsburgh looks to be first in the waiver claim order.
I'd support adding Adam Thielen to the Steelers receiver room.

How is he at stopping the run?

For fucking what? To get two targets per game within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage? He wants to go somewhere where he will be used and have a chance to win. That isn’t anywhere within 200 miles or Pittsburgh.

And I get your point alsoSteel Bingo wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 8:08 pmI get your point, but a first down reception for the Pittsburgh offense means three less plays for the Steelers defense.
Just think it’s too late to salvage this season
Always liked Thielen

That's just what this team needs- another former big name player well past his prime. I wonder what Hines Ward is doing these days, maybe he'll sign!
Adding more moving parts to this dumpster fire, especially at a tits on a boar useless position like WR2, seems moronic, but I can see it as a desperate stab at saving NHALS. Rooney's clueless. He'll say yes.

While WR is an issue, I watch the All-22 clips quite a lot, and Roman Wilson seems to open a lot, Steelers biggest issue on offense is QB and their overall fear of getting hit, therefore they get the ball out like its a hot potato and don't let plays develop, the O-Line hasn't been that bad in pass pro, but old man Rodgers is scared to death back there.

We are happy with our room…and things of that nature.

Just need to execute better.
I appreciate the depth of your question

Steelers claimed former Vikings WR Adam Thielen on waivers, per source
------
Anyone want to guess at the number of targets?
We do what we do so I'm going with something inconsistent... 5 one week, zero the next because we don't want to repeat what works. Sm c

He’s gonna love standing next to DK, Roman and CAIII while Ben Skowronek and 4 TE’s are on the field.

Should give people new appreciation for what Ben was able to do his last year or two, behind a considerably worse OL and an even lesser running game.StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Tue Dec 02, 2025 2:49 amWhile WR is an issue, I watch the All-22 clips quite a lot, and Roman Wilson seems to open a lot, Steelers biggest issue on offense is QB and their overall fear of getting hit, therefore they get the ball out like its a hot potato and don't let plays develop, the O-Line hasn't been that bad in pass pro, but old man Rodgers is scared to death back there.
Ben would run the offense and play like Rodgers and Wilson for 3 quarters. Then he'd throw caution to the wind and ball out. We wasted his last two years, and possibly another year or two, by failing to get him a good OC and OL.
These old QBs that don't move that great and, especially, don't want to get hit CANNOT be put behind an average or worse OL.

At only 35 years old he should be ready to contribute after a year or two in Tomlin’s system. His best game this year was a 2 catch 26 yard outburst, or #1 WR stats in Pittsburgh.
Fuck this franchise!

Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 88 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.
I do love how funny and relatively muted criticism of Rodgers has been. He's playing worse than Ben did in his final two years by a wide margin and the talent is actually probably better around him overall than what Ben had. The OL isn't anywhere near as incompetent as they were those seasons and Rodgers is still chucking the ball out at the fastest rate in the league..Kodiak wrote: ↑Tue Dec 02, 2025 9:39 pmShould give people new appreciation for what Ben was able to do his last year or two, behind a considerably worse OL and an even lesser running game.StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Tue Dec 02, 2025 2:49 amWhile WR is an issue, I watch the All-22 clips quite a lot, and Roman Wilson seems to open a lot, Steelers biggest issue on offense is QB and their overall fear of getting hit, therefore they get the ball out like its a hot potato and don't let plays develop, the O-Line hasn't been that bad in pass pro, but old man Rodgers is scared to death back there.

There was always a large number of media talking heads who hated Roethlisberger and never wanted to give him his due. But yea, Rodgers is showing that playing QB for the Steelers isn't the easy job it was cracked up to be to attack Ben.
Moves like this tell me “we are all in.”
What if he never catches a single pass?
That's certainly possible.
What if the Rats play TOP and never allow the Steelers to see the field.
This is one wacky team.

Will this old fuck be able to hop on our moving train?
This team is such a pathetic joke.
No better way to finish the year than losing out.
Please oh please.

I still want to see Pittsburgh win the AFC North this season. Adding players who are motivated to finish the season strong is a plus.
