It’s so bizarre to me to that instead of just having a system in which experts and technology get the call right, the nfl prefers having an expert tell us from the booth that they blew it.

I think they really admired the NHLs commitment to having ex goons as awkward TV personalities, and decided they needed to figure out how to get the most annoying people in the game on the air.

I would love if the NFL did the ACC’s system. ACC’s audio of the refs going through their philosophy/deliberations/rules live on the broadcast is amazing. It would help the NFL to educate the public on NFL rules too.
