And KEPT forcing the ball to a receiver who was running the wrong routes and making mistakes all game long.
I'll echo most of the above, but let's be clear here. This was 100% Rodgers. Rodgers is the reason MVS is here.

There have been people quietly taking shots at Ben this year to hype up Rodgers. His supposed leadership was brought up this week.

If Ben was the QB of this team, I guaran-fucking-tee that Roman Wilson would be contributing. Roethlisberger would find a way to get the young guy with physical talent involved with this group of WR's ahead of him.

Rodgers has basically shunned him all year long and brought in a guy who is basically his binkie and who wouldn't even be in the league if not for him in MVS. Proceeds to force him the ball with the season on the line.

Do you think Rodgers would tolerate those types of miscues from anyone else? Think he puts up with it and keeps going back to him if not for the fact that he's look retarded if he didn't for bringing him here in the first place? Any other WR would get roasted post-game and have been shown up on national TV with an over-the-top tirade from Rodgers making it clear who was to blame.

This aint leadership.
i agree - Cowher said after the game that AR Plays favorites - the undertone was it's to the detriment of the team sometimes. he also was altered his game today as he appeared scared to death of garrett. he also seemed to blame everyone but himself after each poor play. his body language was god awful today. sanders aside from one TO played tougher than rodgers today

Rogers can still alike the ball with the best of them.

However, if we don’t win a playoff game with him this year I don’t want him back next year.

It certainly seemed like the priority on offense was not to score, but to not let Garrett get a sack. That’s how they played and coached.

The lower owners should ask Rooney if that is a good way to run a franchise? They should demand he retires and hands the thing over to real football minds and leave the politics out of the Team

INSANE stat - Steelers are winless (0-4-1) in their past 5 games vs teams entering 8+ games below .500, tying the longest such streak in NFL history

2020 -- L at 2-10-1 Bengals
2021 -- T vs 0-8 Lions
2023 -- L vs 2-10 Cardinals
2023 -- L vs 2-10 Patriots
2025 -- L at 3-12 Browns
Or someone has money on it and is doing it on purpose. I bet those are some pretty good betting odds return games too.

i agree mostly - i thought it was a combo
a dumb idea to design your entire O to compensate for one guy on D regardless of the detriment to output that was

but. rodgers was also unusually skittish and panicky

Rogers actually tripped and threw not knowing his feet were not on the ground today, trying to get rid of the ball too fast because of Garrett. I thought it cost us a couple series.

i can honestly say Shadeur Sanders was more tough-minded than the entire steelers team today.

i really think that was one of the most embarrassing losses in Tomlins long line of embarrassments

the biggest issue IMO is this newish trend of this team appearing to quit and not give a shit. zero heart

I'll give it to those who want to blame forcing the ball to MVS.

I believe on the last play, Gainwell was open for a walk in TD.

Also Rodgers was indeed scared of Garrett and missed open receivers all game because he didn't want to get sacked.

Why send Rodgers back almost 40 times to pass with Warren only getting 12 carries?

Post game presser was pathetic, another disinterested Coach T bunch of crap.

Avoids blame yet again.

Unbelievable.

Call in show with Prisuta and Batch is sad and pathetic.

Rodgers went in huddle to mvs after the first 2 misses. Goes back to him. Possible dpi face guarding

Gainwell was WFO.

The best part of this being “Groundhog Day”, is that Mike Tomlin is also scared of his own shadow.

This!! It definitely looked like avoiding sacks was more important than successful plays. The only 2 drives where it didn't look that way were the final drives of both halves.

Reminded me of the time Tomlin put a game on the line simply to keep Antonio Brown's receiving record alive.
