WR 3 - who is it?
WR 3 - who is it?
Roman Wilson? Love what’s he done so far
/s
Calvin Austin 3?
Draft pick?
Team Jizz Mop is eyeing Zachariah Branch in the 2nd round top 3rd
Even if CA3 is retained, I think he warrants consideration.
Speed cannot be taught, prolific program….should get plenty of looks with the attention that DK and MP will receive
So Fury poasters, who do you want?
Some really good WR prospects in the draft….
Do you see Austin or Wilson back this year?

WR3 last year was Gainwell.
Austin makes sense as a WR3 more than 2 but he may be a cap casualty.

Germie Bernard or Skyler Bell in rnd 2 I think the Steelers like Omar Cooper and will consider him at #21

I’m hoping we don’t go WR at 21 with the signing of PittmanGreeksteel wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2026 3:01 pmGermie Bernard or Skyler Bell in rnd 2 I think the Steelers like Omar Cooper and will consider him at #21
Rather they invest in IOL or DL

Remember when we would just plug R6 picks into WR #3 and those guys would become 1/2 in a couple of years?

As far as receiver goes perhaps look for an upgrade from Austin.
No disrespect towards CAIII but the name of the game is improve at your skill positions.
Since they’ve made the move in F/A for Pittman they’ve essentially done half the task.
Now they should be looking to improve for the future and this current draft class is fairly deep at WR.
I too hope they look in day two for an upgraded WR prospect. Who they’re looking at is no mystery.
Perhaps they do draft Oline in round 1. Tackle or Guard. Question is…, Do they trade up to get their guy?
If they do, hoping they don’t break the bank with too many picks. 12 picks is draft rich so….
The trenches being very well represented in this draft I can’t help but want them to draft for both sides of the trenches. Mid rounds…
Certainly all positions are a need to some degree. The question is Which ones are priority for them?

Take a WR in R1 or R2. Eventually (1-2 years) they are going to need a WR1 that isn't Metcalfe or Pittman. There are 4-5 guys that I like, but focus should be on getting a guy that can play all positions and run all routes. Boston would be a disaster. Omar Cooper would be nice. Or take a chance with Tyson, who has the best chance of all to be special in the NFL but has had injury issues.
Give Wilson a chance now that Tomlin/Smith are gone to get WR4 snaps. Slowronek as the 5/ST ace.

Is this sarcasm?
Because Rodgers more often than not seemed quite pissed off at little Calvin
Nick Markakis on Astros: "Every guy over there needs a beating."
And why the hell would you re-sign C/C+ level FA based on what Aaron Rodgers wants?Steeldrama wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2026 5:40 pmIs this sarcasm?

ARod seemed to significantly target CA3 before MVS showed up. But he was also pissed at him at times too.

Christian Kirk and a 3rd round WR (Ted Hurst, Antonio Williams, Bryce Lance etc.)
In their current state, I hate everything about this organization.

Nope...listen to Rodgers comments on CA III. And yes, Jobu, I think the QB's opinion matters.Steeldrama wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2026 5:40 pmIs this sarcasm?

Respectfully, I couldn’t disagree more. Not in this case. Rodgers, who is NOT currently under contract, at best will be around one more season. Why should he have any say in signing/re-signing FAs?swissvale72 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2026 6:25 pmNope...listen to Rodgers comments on CA III. Cuz they're trying to win games, and the QBs connection to his receivers is a plus.Jobu wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2026 7:13 pmRespectfully, I couldn’t disagree more. Not in this case. QBs are paid to throw passes, not make roster decisions. That is Omar Konn’s job…that’s why he makes the big bucks!

Roman Wilson will finally maybe get an opportunity with Tomlin gone, and I suspect they draft 2 receivers for sure.
McCarthy runs a ton of 11 personnel, I would imagine he will carry 6 WR on the roster.

Were you saying "good riddance" when he scored winning TD in the finale against Baltimore. Interesting that former coach of the ravens thought enough of him to sign him.

LOL...signed him to a 1 year contract with 100k guaranteed, I would say his spot on the roster isn't very secure, that's what the rest of the league thought about him.
