Do you know how Max Factor made the ladies of that time (Black & White pics and movies) look so beautiful. He used Pancake batter with water (damp sponge) and put that on as foundation.Dan Smith--BYU wrote: ↑Tue Mar 17, 2026 7:10 pm

I stand corrected and that obviously does make sense after seeing her middle aged photos that show a more plain looking woman.
She was in her late fifties and wore heavy makeup for the role.
As a general rule, everyone looks better in black and white photos. Compare 40s HS yearbooks to 70s.

"Now if we're done here gentlemen, let's get back to our phony-baloney jobs!": The immortal Mel Brooks, inspired by the already-going off the rails 1974 California state government, in his role as "GOV" that still drips with hair-gel today, 50 years later...

pre-code real Hedy Lamarr in the movie Ecstasy includes some nudity
and so does Tarzan though Mia Farrow's mom used a body double
seriously, is that scene with Wilder and Little and the Smiley Face Klansmen the single funniest moment in movie history?

by the way, is that what Tomlin says when he walks into a bar trying to find a waitress to impregnate?
