The defense needs ...
NT/DT.
DE
OLB.
CB....

I would double dip at Dline.
Heyward is another day older and putting us deeper in debt.....
And Benton is not the NT that demands double teams...

With the addition of Brisker and the return of Elliot....and Ramsey in at NCB...
I do not see the Steelers going S with their 1st or early.
Maybe 3rd rounder.

If the Steelers go defense with first pick...its either Dline or CB.

I do not see that game changing ILB early.

I do not see that game changing ILB early.

IMO, they need a S and ILB also. Queen is horrible and could be traded away. Wilson is having problems with the physicality of the game. Holcomb is coming back from a devastating knee injury.

We could grab McDonald(NT), Rodriguez/Trotter(ILB) and Durant(DT). If Dillon Thieneman(S) is there you have to take him. The top 3 CBs will most likely be gone by 21. The Steelers entire secondary is sub-par. After the top 3 CBs are gone the talent drops to day 2 or later talent. The the addition of Dean(CB) they could wait until the later round for a CB. As you said, the Steelers could go S later as you said. Perhaps they can grab Clark or Kilgore.

Elliot and Savage are journeymen safeties. They need to be replaced. Ramsey might be traded or let go.

Unfortunately, the Steelers need everything except for P, K, TE and C. Tomlin destroyed the team.
