Carnell might be the slowest DB i’ve ever seen. I guess they are switching him to LB, so that pushes him up to maybe the second percentile for his new position.

Daylan Carnell was a FS prospect in the 2026 draft class.

He scored a 5.76 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 557 out of 1311 FS from 1987 to 2026…. Ran a 4.89 40….

Maybe they planned to use some of those 12 picks all along to lock down UDFAs they wanted.

At the end of the day, I just don't see all the fuss. I don't care when you take a guy, or even if they are a UDFA, as long as they can play.
