We are all enthralled at how you make Kenny Pickett's ballsack shine.
I've actually missed quite a bit of this season. First time in my lifetime where the apathy outweighs any real interest.
That's actually not Kenny Pickett's fault.
We are all enthralled at how you make Kenny Pickett's ballsack shine.
You’ve missed some very exciting football.
I'm all for debate. I'm all for criticism. And I'm all for calling for change, if needed.K_C_ wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 8:21 pm![]()
I love that I live in your head rent free.
Like this entire team does. You hate watching them so much but can’t miss a second.
Just like my posts. They are all indelibly stamped on your tiny brain.
That…..is a beautiful thing.

What i genuinely don't understand is the 24/7 misery. This thread is a perfect example:
"Hey! Our division rival and next week's opponent just lost their franchise QB for the season and will be starting a rookie who looked like dogshit in his last appearance"
"Who cares? Don't you remember losing to Mike Glennon in 2014? DTR will probably throw for 4 TDs!"
Holy shit people, does every freaking thread need to be negative? If so, can we direct some of that negativity toward Cleveland? Maybe?
Let's celebrate like it's 2021 again! There's a direction correlation between people defending this fraud of a team right now and those who couldn't even enjoy the final moments of a HOF QB's career.Holy shit people, does every freaking thread need to be negative? CKSteeler wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 9:05 pmThe lemmings aren't the ones defending yet another mediocre Steelers team at all costs?
They aren't the ones looking for excuses for the billion dollar organization that continues to employ Matt Canada as offensive coordinator?
They aren't the ones relentlessly defending a QB who is near the bottom in every meaningful statistical category?
What the fuck does it mean to call someone a lemming again?

You fucking lemmings will seemingly cheer for whatever crap Tomlin trots out there. I guess I should celebrate that the Steelers will get to face a third string rookie QB and hopefully get another cheap win that will mean NOTHING come January.
It's fools gold. That is, to repeat this for the thousandth time, why people are "negative."
I'd like to reiterate that the only one actually worked up or dramatic about any of this are the supposed non-lemmings. Most of the rest of us are just scratching our heads and admitting that we are watching a shitty product on the field.Smashmouth21 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 9:08 pmIt’s sad. Just sad. That’s not true and you know it. Rooting for a sports team and being pleased when it succeeds, especially overcoming adversity, is a far cry from blindly defending an organization.CKSteeler wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 9:12 pmI'd like to reiterate that the only one actually worked up or dramatic about any of this are the supposed non-lemmings. I could go on about you in particular, but I don't care to. You are defending a billion dollar organization that is trotting out a shitty product.
It's a complete strawman to claim people are upset. Especially when the very person you are talking to has described their own emotions quite clearly as apathy.Smashmouth21 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 9:23 pmThat’s not true and you know it. But being upset when your team has success because it doesn’t fit the Lemming narrative that the players suck, the coach sucks, and the organization sucks so we should burn it all down is, frankly, pathetic.

No one is excited about this team being 5-3 besides the delusional out there and Swiss who just wants to see the team play an extra week at the end of the year.
Who the fuck cares about being 5-3 in November when you already know how the season is going to end? Go ahead and call me Ms. Cleo. You know full well as I do where this season is ending.

Don’t try to educate those who have already made up their mind to be miserable when the season isn’t over yet. Let them pat themselves on the back for being “right” when they went way out on a limb to proclaim the Steelers won’t win the Super Bowl this year.K_C_ wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 11:35 pmThe Steelers are 6-3.CKSteeler wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 11:30 pmIt's a complete strawman to claim people are upset. No I just feel like this means the Browns will commit to the run game and gash the Steelers, rather than pass a lot and play into the Steelers’ hands.
The Steelers own running game is looking pretty good these days. 340 yards on 58 carries and 3 TD's on the ground in the last 2 weeks. Broderick Jones has made one helluva difference.jeemie wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 12:02 amNo I just feel like this means the Browns will commit to the run game and gash the Steelers, rather than pass a lot and play into the Steelers’ hands.
I’m more worried about this game with DTR at the helm than PJ Walker. He’s way more talented.jeemie wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 12:02 amNo I just feel like this means the Browns will commit to the run game and gash the Steelers, rather than pass a lot and play into the Steelers’ hands.
Am I wrong but wasn't PJ Walker at QB when the Browns upset the Niners?Smashmouth21 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 12:11 amI’m more worried about this game with DTR at the helm than PJ Walker. He’s way more talented.
Besides KC, there are no AFC teams that should scare anybody this season.CKSteeler wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 12:17 amNone of the optimists around here want to go on record as to what they think will happen if this team makes the post-season? Or what they are going to build on in future years given what we've seen of Kenny Pickett? Bueller?
Yea, that's pretty much what I thought. We should be blindly optimistic...because the team has had every break go their way this year.
The season isn’t over yet. I’m not even certain the Steelers will make the playoffs. All the AFC teams are bunched up tight right now and the Steelers have to take care of business. But the Steelers do have a good chance to be playing in the tournament and even have a shot at the division crown. That makes the second half of the season compelling, must see TV.CKSteeler wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 12:17 amNone of the optimists around here want to go on record as to what they think will happen if this team makes the post-season? Hey, I just posted that if this Steelers team wins in Cleveland this weekend, I will likely be favoring them to win out in the regular season. Is that not positive enough?Pabst wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 8:51 pmI'm all for debate. I'm all for criticism. And I'm all for calling for change, if needed.
