Jags select OC Tanor Bortilini Wisconsin. Wisconsin always puts out good lineman, Bortilini is another one who smoked the combine. Takes over for Morse in 2 years.

With the 121st pick, the Denver Broncos keep to the trenches. Their defense against the run in 2023 was really bad (like bottom 5 in the league). And it looks like they will be losing Mike Purcell.

So, Denver selects a strong dude to fill up the gaps at NT: McKinnley Jackson, IDL, Texas A&M

Every year the same thing happens: right around a week after the FA period starts, a bunch of online sources start "discovering" guys those of us who've been digging have been on for months. This is one of "my guys" for this draft--who was a nobody outside this mock draft until his pro day and the Steelers interest––and if I hadn't had Mims fall to me at 20, I'd have been more inclined to draft him.

This player didn't really have the best Hula Bowl but because of his proximity to Mobile, he got called up as an injury replacement. He then went out with zero fanfare––not even listed in the program or announced as a participant and people thought he was Jeremy Flax!–and dominated 2 days of OL vs DL reps and then played great in the game. The Steelers scheduled an official visit with tham, which makes sense because his college team led or nearly led FBS in rushing like 3 of the 4 years he was starting.

Great developmental prospect who might even be better than that.

Packers' QB Jordan Love already has a plethora of young, talented weapons at his disposal, but I'm gonna give him one more.

A luxury pick of sorts, this 6'7 monster boasts '36 arms and a condor like 7 FOOT WINGSPAN. A supercharged, red zone weapon extraordinaire for my dark horse Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers.

With the 126th pick in the 2024 SteelerFury draft, the Green Bay Packers select: Johnny Wilson WR Florida State

Packers Picks:

1.) Cooper Dejean CB Iowa
2.) Kool-Aid Mckinstry CB Alabama
2.) Junior Colson LB Michigan
3.) Christian Mahogany OG Boston College
3.) Dadrion Taylor-Demerson S Texas Tech
4.) Johnny Wilson WR Florida St

After selecting a Nickel slot CB last time around in Jarvis Brownleee, our work in the secondary isn't done. Having acquired Dante Jackson we now have a speedy, undersized guy outside to go with our long blanket in JPJ. We also have a big S/CB type who has issues staying healthy in Cory Trice, A long developmental guy in Darius Rush, and two starting safeties in Minkah and new SS signing DeShon Elliott. But generally, the Safety depth chart isn't great and, if you're like me and you want a secondary with interchangeable pieces, it would be helpful to have a guy with safety skills, who could also be the second-best outside CB on the team.

I feel like the best thing is to collect some dudes and let their play sort out the best 6 you'll see on the field. We know who 4 of those are, but there will be at least two more DB jobs to be won. Let the competition begin.

This prospect has had an incredible journey. He had some offers out of high school but ultimately left school because of his father's coma and ultimate death from a car accident. He spent two years working odd jobs to support his family, while still working out and trying to remember why he wanted to play football. Finally, a childhood friend who had also lost her father tragically encouraged him to revive his career dreams. His mom signed him up for the Fan Controlled Football League, which is about as far from the NFL as you can get. He became one of the best players in that league's history and caught the attention of a coach in the CFL, who helped him get a tryout in Toronto, despite him not playing college football.

To his own surprise, he made the team, won a starting job during the first preseason game, had a league-leading 5 Interceptions, and was named rookie of the year in the CFL. That got him on the NFL's radar, and he got a real rare opportunity. He became the first prospect ever invited to the East-West Shrine Game who had never played in college. Not only that, he showed off the top coverage skills in 1 on 1s, and then showed up in the game, nearly intercepting the first pass of the night.

His real superpower so far is off-man coverage. Much like the more celebrated Cooper Dejean, this prospect also has a special talent for breaking on the ball in off-man and zone coverage, skills that would help him play in a variety of roles. He's physical, has unreal ball skills.. and he's only 22, with lots and lots of room to grow––which is why we're selecting him.

With the 127th pick in the 2024 SteelerFury Board Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select:

Qwan'tez Stiggers, DB, Toronto Argonauts

With the first pick of the 5th round, the Denver Broncos select

Beau Brade, Safety, Maryland

After the release of Justin Simmons, Denver needs to find another guy to stay healthy in the secondary. Brade is a smart safety who can contribute.
