Some players came out afterwords and said the team wasn’t as prepared as they should have been and said the anthem thing was a big distraction that week.
Our coaches have their hands full just trying to be good football coaches. I’d prefer they not also have to navigate and deal with social issues on what could be a daily basis.
The vast, VAST majority of players will be kneeling regularly if they play the national anthem. Most coaches will will likely join them.
