Brock Purdy is a God
Re: Brock Purdy is a God
If Purdy was a first round draft pick who did everything the same on the field, this conversation wouldn't even be happening. I can never emphasize that enough. A first rounder with his skillset doing everything he has done would not be getting knocked the way Purdy is.
No QB in NFL history has ever put up an MVP type season without a shit ton of good things going on around him. Besides maybe Peyton who was given it because everyone wanted to attack his supporting cast in 2009.
I saw a meme that Purdy has broken a lot of people's brains. They can't just accept what their eyes are seeing because they were programmed to think a 7th rounder should suck. The success has to be explained away in some form or fashion.
It is the same exact shit they did to Roethlisberger when he was young because QB's weren't supposed to win like that early on. They did it to Brady, too.
I've seen this story before. Purdy is a good QB. As long as he found his way onto the field somewhere else, he was going to be successful.

Yea, the 49ers are my second most hated team behind the Browns. Debartolo is from where I live so in the 80's, the local news was all over them. There are alot of 9er fans here in Youngstown.955876 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2023 1:31 amAgreed. And I’m as long a Niner hater as I am a Steelers fan.If people want to call Purdy a system QB that’s fine but make no mistake, he’s a major part of the system. Best offense I’ve seen in a looooooooooong time.
I live in Niners country. These cunts always think their guy is the “best ever”. It’s nauseating.
Shit, most of my wife’s relatives are Niner fans.
Most of my colleagues, friends, and clients are Niners fans.
I’ve hated the Niners my whole life.
This current version is hard to hate. I wish we were them.
They have an offensive minded HC running the best scheme in the league while still deploying a top defensive unit.
Very envious.
In years past I REALLY cared bout the Niners passing us in SB victories.
I don’t care anymore.
If they make it I’m going NFC and pulling for them.
I still don't get how you could not care for them to pass the Steelers but I guess maybe it will wake this organization up, doubt it though.
I guess I’ve just gone soft. How many SBs they have vs us doesn’t matter to me as much anymore.
In years past it was a big deal to me.
And I don’t see us winning another for a while so chances are they catch and maybe even pass us.
Kind of like the Pats did.
We are not currently competitive in the championship football arena so I imagine many teams could catch us.
This team now celebrates 8-8-1 and praises the coach for those amazing feats.

Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 84 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.
