Question how does everyone view Coach Arth ?
Probably a guy who wished he didn't sign a contract with Pittsburgh knowing now what he does about Tomlin. Any legit coach going to Pittsburgh is near the end of their career! He won't get another offer to run an O anywhere else considering what he is putting on tape for good ol' Mickey!

Why is Arthur Smith coaching?

Isn't his Dad the guy who created FedEx?

WTF is he doing working?

He loves it very much? GTFO.

I imagine he’s definitely having second thoughts

I’m sure he heard run first, and thought it was a perfect fit

Not realizing that run first, includes being completely hamstrung by your brain dead head coach, and consistently running in the loaded boxes, irrespective of the down distance and field position

The Mike Tomlin offense is seriously the most simplistic in the league

No matter how you feel about Aaron Rodgers, there is no way he’s excited about the idea of coming to Pittsburgh and playing in that scheme

Which is exactly why he’s still looking for other opportunities

Does anyone have any doubt Rodgers would be signed already if Ben Johnson or Kevin O'Connell or Sean McVay were OC or HC on this team?

For some reason Chuck Knox/Woody Hayes circa 1970 is unappealing...

You mean you’re good with Jaxson Dart at 1.21, cause that’s where this is headed.
Fixed it for ya….
Dart is going to New Orleans.

That's my bet.

If we get Milroe, I will be 95% of the way to an Eagles' fan.

FedEx.

Rodgers is just fucking with the PS at this point. Last night would have been the ideal chance to make a splash at the McAfee event.

Which really sucked watching it on video IMO.

Not sure if anyone noticed today but everybody had Allen Lazard signing with the Steelers to join his old pal Aaron Rodgers, after he became the Steelers starting QB.

Welp, Lazard just took a pay cut to remain with the Jets.

I do not think Aaron Rodgers is ever coming to PIttsburgh and I, for one, am overjoyed at that prospect.

Give me Dart, Milroe, Slough, Howard, etc. I do not give a fuck but I want a young guy waiting in the wings while Mason mentors him.

I understand Tomlin is an idiot and it probably won't work out but the Steelers are due for some luck at the QB position.

Who knows. But I think both sides know the other isn't going anywhere and there's no hurry to sign anything.

Mutual back-up plan, at this point. Come August 1st both sides might finally "settle" for the other.

I want Mason mentoring my future franchise QB like I want a bullet in the head.

Love has stated that Rodgers was a great example for him. You have a future HOF'er you can have your young guy learn from, you do it.

Are they due though?

A lot of QB’s and years between Bradshaw to Ben. Let’s hope they don’t repeat that timespan!

Mark Malone, David Woodley, Scott Campbell, Bubby Brister, Steve Bono (during the 1987 strike), Todd Blackledge, Neil O’Donnell, Mike Tomczak, Kordell Stewart, Jim Miller, Kent Graham and Tommy Maddox.

Rodgers 100% doesn't give a fuck anymore. He'll be collecting a check if he signs with the Steelers (which I'll be beyond shocked if he does. Dude could have signed with Pittsburgh months ago. It's much more likely Rodgers retires than wears the black and gold.)

Mason is nothing special as a starting QB, but he's a hard worker and won't be paranoid like Ben was when Rudolph was drafted or completely checked out like Rodgers is now.

I know we all hate the NHALS, but what Mason did a few years ago was pretty unbelievable. Dude had Mitch Fucking Trubisky ahead of him on the depth chart and played damn good football to finish out the season.

Obviously he wasn't beating Josh Allen in Buffalo but without a pretty terrible goal line INT, that game is likely damn close.

Don't be surprised if Mason overachieves again in Pittsburgh, if he has the weapons to do just that while our rookie QB is waiting in the wings.

I told youns guys couple years ago that they should go back to the old single wing!
Btw, we had nearly two decades of terrific performance from Ben. He was a joy to watch, despite the Tomlin shackles.

I know no one agrees with this, but the Steelers should have signed Justin Fields. Really should never have benched him. Was anyone that surprised by Russell Wilson late season collapse. But Tomlin loves a Big Name. Aaron Rodgers was a Great QB, 10 years ago.

Let’s continue to sign old QBs who have no future instead of a 25 year old who is the best running QB with a great arm. And bench him just as he starts to figure out how to win. Great strategy. I don’t blame him for joining the Jets.

I still like Rudolph, at least he’s a solid backup.

I tend to agree we should have kept Fields. Also think Rudolf is hot garbage and could suffice a Cpl games here or there but if he’s starting more than a Cpl weeks, we’re doomed. He’s simply JAG.

Also believe it really doesn’t matter until Rooney and Coach Fraudlin move on because those two fucking morons have sunk this franchise. No identity, no rhythm to anything, no real respect to be a Steeler. Those days have long sailed, but thanks Mike. You fucking Fraud.

I’ll root for the team but I give so many less fucks compared to years past.

'83 draft doomed the Stillers for a long time. Could have gone from Bradshaw>Marino>Ben.
But hey they thought Gabriel Rivera was gonna be a balla.

Yeah I agree with that part but Shula was the ideal coach for him. Senor Sack may have been the real deal successor to Greene and his college tape was completely dominant:

The click articles being generated by the Rodgers story are off the charts.

The latest one has us trading Watt to SF for Purdy.

That's been out there for at least two weeks.

The Edge browser with MSN news is an absolute cesspool. At least half my feed is either dumb videos with no article, or AI-generated click bait.

It's been an interesting experiment as my personal laptop is locked down from tracking and personalization, but I leave my work laptop remember everything. And, one example, it figured out SOME of my habits pretty quickly, like an interest in the Steelers (other topics, not so much). But I get A LOT of dumb clickbait Steeler articles. Shocking how many. So the personalization actually results in a lower quality and credibility.
